I guess you're implying we're at war with our own military, then?

You, like harry, don't seem to understand the difference b/t Muslims and Muslim extremists.

btw, the Obama / at war w/Israel stuff just makes you sound foolish (especially with the exclamation point you have such a fondness for -- you may want to lose that when you're at college or working -- it's childish, even on a message board)

Do you think that military personnel should be executed for rape, too?

Did I mention that women in the U.S. military are more likely to be raped by fellow soldiers than killed by enemy fire?

The Department of Defense estimates that more than 19,000 service members were raped or sexually assaulted in 2010. Due to a military culture heavy on retaliation and light on prosecution, only 13.5 percent of the victims report the rape.

Did I mention that most of the perpetrators of these rapes and assaults were, most likely, largely made up of non-Muslims?

You must be reading horseshyte publications like "The Hill":

"In a June 11 article in The Hill, reporter Alexander Bolton cropped a statement from Sen. Barack Obama that Bolton said "ome Jewish voters interpreted ... as a sign that Obama would be overly sympathetic to the Palestinian side in future peace negotiations with Israel." Bolton reported: "Jewish Democrats are concerned about Obama for several reasons. While stumping in Iowa last year, Obama told Democratic activists, 'Nobody is suffering more than the Palestinian people.' "

However, according to a transcript of Obama's remarks, after asserting that the "biggest impediment that we've got right now" to peace is the lack of "a partner on the Palestinian side that is willing to, both willing to enter into peace talks and is able to execute," and stating that Israel is also "going to have some stones to carry in the road to peace," Obama said: "Now, in the interim, nobody's suffering more than the Palestinian people from this whole process. And I would like to see -- if we could get some movement from Palestinian leadership -- what I'd like to see is a loosening up of some of the restrictions on providing aid directly to the Palestinian people."

Just another lie vector from The Obama Haters. You don't need to make up or transmit transparent lies about Obama. He's in enough crap with the unemployment numbers that too many idiots believe could be fixed by some magical wave of the Executive Wand. He's also in deep with the base who sees him as a sellout (and rightfully so). You really think that crap needs to be tossed-out there?

Amazing is how The War on Terror (TWOT) mouthpeices can turn any topic into one about Muslims and Terror. Even the most superficial connection with Islam or the Middle East is about TWOT. They could mentally connect a leaf falling from a tree with Mooooooooslims using six degrees of separation.

    Amazing.

As much as I dislike our military "strategy," comparing it to Hitler and the Nazis immediately deprives the author of any credibility he or she might have had -- as does the implication that Obama is responsible for the "... 820 military installations in at least 135 countries..."

We are coming to the point where if you even say the words "nine one one" you are a Racist Bigot because we all know who was behind 9/11 and we also know who the people were that screamed, laughed and danced in the streets all over the world when The American Sky Scrapers crumbled to the ground.

The Far Left Wing American Liberals are slowly but surely becoming Anti Semites and Anti American, they have fallen in love with Islam because Islam is the sworn enemy of Israel & America.

and we also know who on this forum only posts about blacks and Muslims and posts bigoted remarks toward Muslims, only to occasionally recant and claim that it's not about all Muslims, just the violent extremists, andd then contiue to post bigoted remarks about all Muslims

Hey, I wouldn't blame the bigots for not wanting to get called out on their bs. The backtracking isn't very principled, but then, when you're a bigot, one wouldn't expect much in the way of principle or character.

Meanwhile, keep making claims about entire swaths of the US population being anti-Semitic or anti-American, despite never providing any evidence to support your lies. Fortunately for you, this forum, unlike most, permits that kind of garbage. So keep wallowing in it.

edit: btw, it's 9/11 -- 9-1-1 is what you call when there's an emergency. You can't even get something that simple right.

Obama Can't Be Held Responsible For Any Wars Because.
    1 He is a democrat
    2 He is a liberal
    3 He is America's first

President Jug Ears could drop a Nuke and his groupies would try to find a way to blame Bush, Ronald Reagan or Fox News.

and his dumbass opponents would find fault in anything he does because

    1 He is a democrat
    2 He is a liberal
    3 He is America's first

They'd oppose his actions even if their messiahs Bush, Ronald Reagan or Fox News did or condoned the same.

hey, keep pretending 100 troops in Uganda is the same as Hitler conquering Eruope. It's a fantastic argument that you're supporting, and not at all hypocritical after the fawning support groupies gave to Bush.

I hear you but the "Obama didn't start it" lament is getting old. Nothing's changed since Bush-nothing. If anything Obama's tenure thus far has only exacerbated the Bush neocon doctrines. And his point about the Nobel Peace prize is well taken-Peace prize, really? Even Bush never took occupation this far and he had 2 terms godhelpus. Imagine Obama with a 2nd term-we'll need the draft or robots or both. No child left behind-Uncle Sam Wants You!

This isn't about "Obama didn't start it" -- it's about (i) the US having pretty much in common with Hitler and the Nazis and (ii) how preposterous it is to blame Obama for our worldwide military presence.

I fully believe that we need to shut bases throughout the globe. But that's not Obama's doing, and pointing the finger at him, like I said, lacks credibility.

(I also fully believe that, were he to start shutting down bases, the cries from the right would start immediately -- he'd be accused of hating America, undermining our security, hating the troops, blah, blah, blah.)

Why? He's the POTUS isn't he? He's not just "not shutting them down", he's expanding them. Obama's as accountable as Bush and the rest of this criminal enterprise otherwise known as our government. BTW, Hitler invaded 11 countries so Bam being up to 8 makes that comparison not as far-fetched as you portray it to be.
    http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_countries_did_Adolf_Hitler_invade
Either way, nobody's "blaming Obama" for a military presence, people are however blaming him for expanding it. And rightly so.
"We've ALWAYS been at war with Oceania".Peace Prize. really? War is Peace and Obama's a fraud. Bush was a neocon but he never pretended to be anything else.

    (i) How many of those bases did Obama open? if he's opening new bases, I agree with you.

(ii) I don't think Obama has invaded 8 nations, but even if he had, saying it's equivalent to Hitler is still more than a stretch. Comparisons of pretty much anybody to Hitler and the Nazis really minimizes their actions.

Kind of like how the pubbies stopped talking about criticism of the President at a time of war being unpatriotic or even treasonous, huh?

    :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

btw, the LA Times still has body counts and obits of soldiers who continue to get killed.

Yeah, but this change at NewsHour sucks:

"After the United States-led invasion of Iraq in 2003, The NewsHour began what it called its "Honor Roll", a short segment displaying in silence the picture, name, rank, and hometown of US military personnel killed in Iraq. On January 4, 2006, The NewsHour added military personnel killed in Afghanistan to the segment. The "Honor Roll" is no longer a regular feature of the program."
