10 Questions With Patriots Running Back Shane Vereen

Love this guy. If we don't find a way to keep him it leaves a HUGE void. When we can't get the running game going he becomes our "running game" with the short passes. He was a MONSTER in the SB. His 11 catches for 64 yards were essentially 11 runs. I don't recall how many 1st downs he had off the top of my head but he was every bit as big as Blount or Gray can be when bulling through a D.

He's an invaluable option and the longer he's here the more veteren big time plays he'll come up with. That catch against the Jets is just an example of what a guy who knows this offense can do.

He'll be better and more valuable here to us than he'll be anywhere else. I'm sure he realizes that. Find a way FO.

My favourite question was who was the toughest person he's had to pass block against and he mentioned Jamie Collins. Collins really is a menace to pick up by a runningback and shows it time and time again. :)
