    Interesting since it's in Miami.

Probably going by the trending, since Miami lost their last game and the Patriots won, bettors probably are leaning towards the Pats in general.

This is suprising and I think it will change. Until the pats road woes stop I don't see how anybody in the world can pick them.

What is his record playing in Miami?I think he's only won at Miami 2 or 3 times in his career. It's one of the places he's had historically bad games.

Patriots under BB are 4-6 @ Miami in the regular season. One of the wins came with Matt Cassel as the QB, so Brady is 3-6.

I wouldn't pick the Pats in this game. They've been horrible on the road and the Dolphins are a solid team. A win would definitely impress me though.

In his postgame press conference, Tom stressed how important it was for this team to go down to Miami and get a quality win on the road. No question, he's dialed in. He'll be on the biggest stage as the highest paid player in the league, for the first time in his career.

He won't disappoint, and I expect him to put the team on his shoulders.

I think the Pats will always be a dangerous opponent for anybody to deal with. Why? Because we have an explosive offense and a young, athletic defense that has the potential to make some big plays.

However, I *hate* this matchup this week. Several reasons:

    1. The Pats aren't very good on the road. We don't need to beat this to death, but we all know the Pats' road record the past couple of seasons isn't anything to brag about.

    2. They always have trouble in Miami. I don't know why this is, but Miami hasn't been a good place for Brady to play. Under Brady, the Pats are just 3-5 in Miami (they won the year he was hurt and Cassel was the QB).

    3. Miami's offense is the kind that could give the Pats real problems. Good running game (better than what Buffalo had this past week), a capable (if unspectacular) QB, and a very big-time WR that we have no adequate cover for.

    4. The Dolphins are coming off a tough loss to the Jets and don't want to lose two consecutive home divisional games. As has been said, the desperate team more often than not ends up winning, and I see Miami as more "desperate" (if you can call the 4th game of the season featuring two 2-1 teams a "desperate" situation) than the Pats are.

I'm usually wrong when I make predictions, but I see the Pats losing by 10 this week. I really hope I'm wrong again, but I don't like this situation at all.

I agree. We have one of the most depressing fanbases I have ever seen. I predict a close game and we won't be running like we did against the Bills but our passing game will win it for us. Moss, Gronk and Welker will each have a TD.

It's going to be a shootout. I don't see either defense stopping the opposing offense with any consistency.

So I should just quit being a Pats fan if I don't like this week's matchup?

    Got it.

I can name a million reasons why the Pats overmatch the Dolphins, and why the Dolphins overmatch the Pats... but you guys are just listing how the Dolphins can beat the Pats... depressing you guys act as if Brady and Moss are not on the Roster... # 1 offense as of now, burned Revis and 2 other teams now. How is the Dolphins going to stop the Pats when they can't even stop Sanchez?

First, who cares about the Vegas line? It is based on where they think the money is going to go, not who will win.

Second, when did the Dolphins become an unstoppable machine. Chad Henne has been Jeckyl and Hyde so far this year and mostly Hyde. Their defense allowed Mark Sanchez to pass all over them and eventhough he has had two games in a row, he is no Brady and the Pats' offense is still far superior than the Jets offense. The thinking is that Vegas feels that the bettors don't trust Henne and they feel Brady can do far more damage than Sanchez.

I don't know if I agree with that. If the Dolphins offense of the first two weeks shows up rather than Sunday's offense, the Dolphins' offense is exactly what the Pats' defense needs to gain some confidence. It all depends on how Henne plays.

The one thing that is scary is that Henne and Marshall picked on Antonio Cromartie a lot. Personally, I think McCourty on Marshall might be less of a mismatch (although not much).

Again, it all depends on which Dolphins offense shows up.
