Besides Edelman can you think of another offensive playmaker?
Blount? He has made a play or two.
A few games ago Develin made a nice catch on the side lines for a good gain, remember being impressed by his "catching radius"... seems as though #12 is dialed in on a few guys...
Think they have to somehow mix it up and get creative with the receiving corps...
Except for AH one of the best. No one would have thought that with all the new faces at WR, and all the injuries to key starters and others, that this team would be playing in the AFCCG.....again. They started playing with house money last night.i still do not believe it...what an awesome season...
incredible
these Pats are so strong
great great season
GO PATS
All of our guys on the offense played their roles extremely well tonight. They did what we've wanted them to do for awhile, which was impose their will in a physical manner vs the opposition. That's what playoff football is all about.
It sure would be nice to see another "playmaker" step up, particularly in the offensive receiving game though. While I never thought the odds were too good of happening, a guy like Dobson (or even Amendola...hell, even Collie should he snag 4-5 grabs) would go an awfully long way towards giving us a much better passing game.
In the meantime, Belichick has guys like Devlin, Hooman etc stepping up in the blocking assignments, so it's possible that we may be able to at least "get there" by winning next Sunday. That would then give us 2 weeks to prepare for something a bit more explosive in the passing game, especially if we had another WR somehow step up as a viable candidate.

Big hurdles to get over before it happens, but Marshawn Lynch and LeGarrette Blount in the same Super Bowl would be pretty epic.
I was a little perturbed at a point in the game because Brady seemed to look nowhere else beside Edelman, Vereen and sometimes Amendola. I wanted him to throw it to KT if anything just to mix it up a bit but alas when that happened he got knocked out of the game.
