just for the record, CNN had it before Faux News did.... as did MSNBC....
Who cares ? What difference does it make ?
OK, cutie, I have to ask :
As Bush was re-elected when he was well into his murderous reign of terror, should everyone who voted for him in 2004 be considered as co-conspirators ?
Saddam becomes a martyr, immortality becomes the final revenge, George W. has fixed daddy's major f... up.. now what, can we leave now???
That's because CNN and MSNBC are so obsessed with breaking news, they don't let stupid things like facts get in the way. ESPN does the exact same thing, only with all things sports related.
In a nutshell, Yes. If there was a way to implement it, I'd be all for convicting anyone who's ever voted for Bush for ANY office and sentencing them to being banned from voting again. I'm sorry but folks like yourself have demonstrated a deep misunderstanding of what's best for this nation and the less you vote in the future, the better. You people are not much different from crack heads. They can't resist the call of the pipe and you can't resist the call of blaming every one of our problems on taxes, the people who clean our bathrooms, and France. The major difference is that crack heads know they have a problem. They just choose to not deal with it. You won't even acknowledge your problem.
Killed any American soldiers today, traitorous scumbag...?
Someday you will get what is coming to you. Bank on that.
a personal insult, followed by a threat.... and yet you're crying about what liberals seem to get away with on here...
dear awesome Star Wars fan: might be time to gear down just a tad, whadya think?
Flags will fly at half staff on all NY Times buildings today in honor of Saddam Hussein. Maureen Dowd and Ms Huffington will dress in Black for three days and wear a veil.
Uncle Teddy will remain drunk for six more years in honor of Saddam.
GOD IS GREAT
Well, guess I was wrong about the NY Times, they wrote a pretty good account of Saddam hanging. (I apologize)
Looking at the photos of the hanging on CNN.com, I can't help thinking how barbaric execution by hanging is. I also think it's bizarre it is in a country so torn by violence to turn Saddam inot a martyr. From the few polls I've seen, Saddam had the support of about 20% of the Iraqis, which is probably as sizeable as any other faction.
I would like to state the obvious, by the way, it's the middle easterners who killed 3,000 of ours - not Bush.
I'm looking forward to seeing it, I stayed up late last night to see pictures but to no avail.
Barbaric - he got less than he deserved.
Saddam liked having peoples tongues cut out while they "gurgled", they should have cut his out just before they "dropped him".
Erm, NEM has said that he is in favour of bringing your troops home, where they are less likely to get killed. He has said this repeatedly. The people killing American troops are terrorists and "insurgents". How does opposing American troops in Iraq make him a troop KILLER?
For the record, my own views are more likely to get them killed as I am not in favour of immediate troop withdrawal.
. He's dead now and that is all that matters. I don't believe in God so I see his time as having been done.
ROFL! I just spit out my coffee Harry, thanks.
I felt the same Patters. I refuse to look at footage or pictures of it. As much as I feel the man deserved his punishment, I still don't find joy in it. Were I to watch it with excitement, I'd feel no better than the savage primitives who watched the Nick Berg video in much the same way. Obviously, Iraq is not the US. What is barbaric here may not be considered barbaric there. However, were it up to me, an injection of some kind would have been better served.
The position stems from the fact that the radicals have made public their desire to use the MSM, and public sentiment against the US cause. There is validity to this position. By mutilating and kill ing US soldiers, the radicals hope that people like NEM become more abundant. The enemy knows it cannot defeat us on the battlefield, so they hope to defeat us at home. The more NEMS there are screaming, the more momentum the enemy builds. Say what you will about what such a position means, but there certainly is some sense in the arguement.
