Re: Video: Ben Watson's tackle
I was there. It's rather hard to forget for me, but I can tell you, I was in that part of the endzone and I still remember -knowing- that it went out into the Endzone.
I made a post to this exact effect in the gameday thread on Sunday - It's true. Not "every fan" on "every team" acts like the sky is falling everytime the team is down.
That's what keeping the faith is all about. That's what true fans do, keep the faith.
HAH! I love the fact that you mention religion as a factor for winning a football game. With sarcasm, I..hope.
But of course... - you're totally right.
But besides these overwhelming odds against us, I still have the Pats in a blow-out.
You also have to realize that if these guys are taken out in the 3rd quarter of every single game, when the close games come - if they do - they'll need to play a full four quarters, and playing into the 4th Quarter is the only way to keep that wind up.
His reasoning was that he was taking it to recover from an injury to his knee. And it does work for things like that, it also allows for faster growth in the muscles and the like. It's not the same as a steroid - but you'll get people who say it is.
I think he'll be just as good, if not...
Danny88, you're an anti-fan and your posts are the things that are made out of glass. It's horrible.
When Maroney puts up 110 yds. on the Cowboys tomorrow, you'll be saying 'I told you so' - it's just gar-baj.
I went to Mile High for the playoff game that the Pats lost in January of '06 in a Brady uniform and a Patriots hat. I'd say universally, the only thing people are doing in visiting stadiums is just playful ribbing. That is unless they're drunk. Then it gets fun.
Good luck out there man!
As a true fan of both the Sox and the Pats, I must say I was watching the Pats and then switched over to the Sox on the commerical breaks. It wasn't that I like the Pats more than the Sox, it was - like others above me have put - that the sox play a hundred-sixty games a year and the Pats play...
Re: As per mort
It seems like Goodell is just making up these rules as he's going along, dependent on the court of biased public opinion which is in large part against the Patriots (because they've been misled by the Media).
Re: As per mort
My thoughts exactly. Even if they still have them, what's to stop them from merely deleting/destroying them? Goodell is a commissioner of a sports league, not the President of the United States - he has no power to enforce beyond what teams agree to give him, at least in...
Re: As per mort
I say it's garbage, he's just saving face. Either way, how is he going to enforce this mandate? Get a warrant? Goodell doesn't have the kind of power that he thinks he does.
