He's been hands down the best QB from that class, and it's not even close. Is he a superstar yet? No. But there's a reason the best QB usually gets taken at 1, while all the others are copium from QB-bereft teams.
- Anyone who says Caleb Williams will bust, has never seen him play outside of a Youtube clip here and there.
The answer is "Every QB not named Caleb Williams', much like the 2021 class answer was 'Every QB not named Trevor Lawrence'.
1) Don't draft the best player available at the draft position you're in.
If you stay at 3, and you don't take Marvin Harrison, we'll be back here in 3 years, new coach, new GM, hyping ourselves up for a Day 2 QB to take in the top 5.
I won't cry if they trade down and get a good return for it.
He should be available day 3 unless some team panics.
Although if you're taking a developmental day 3 QB, you may as well take Joe Milton, and try to teach him how to read a defense.
Ok, now I'm convinced you're on his management team. Nobody pimps Malik Nabers as much as you do. He's the 3rd best WR prospect, depending on how much you like Xavier Worthy.
He's the one guy they didn't try there that I would have liked to have seen there. Although he did appear to improve as the season went on last year at boundary.
Oh I disagree. Belichick was having him taking starting boundary reps before he got hurt.
Now, we'll see how well he comes back from injury, but considering a year of potential development is now gone, that doesn't really bode well. Ditto for Gonzalez, btw.
