    Recent Patriots Drafts Bearing Fruit

If everyone remembers the 2003 draft was pretty good too. Warren, Wilson, Samuel, Koppen and Banta-Cain. Unfortunately, what the 2002, 2008 and 2009 seasons have in common is very short or no playoff runs. I'm sure that gave BB more time to work on the draft. Here hoping BB can overcome that...

    Gameplanning and the short week.

I wonder what edge the Lions have with having to go through these short week fire drills every year? It's probably less of a big deal now that Thursday night football is a regular event. Anyone have any thought on this?

    Anyone have the tv listings?

    Why is Welker returning punts?

Has anyone seen any data the real injury risk vs reward in a punt return situation. How much more likely is Wes to get injured than in a WR position?

I'm here in occupied Raider Country

49ers turf myself. It's tough to see such a proud football town be so bad for so long. Raders fans are the worst. But would love to watch some pats games with pats fans!

Pats is GREATEST team in NFL this Sat.?

Does anyone else get really sick of listening the dissolution of talent argument? It has to be the dumbest fall back for reporters lacking facts and research since mystic and aura. Simple facts (even a sports writer can understand) 1972 NFL has 26 teams and the US has 209m people. 2007 NFL...

    Acquiring Quarterbacks

Quarterbacks First of all this is a great study! I had some number floating around that I though might just be useful. If your looking at the value received from a player. A superstar starter has significantly more value over the course of the season than the 53rd player. I looked at the QB's...

    Getting Our Voice Heard

Goodell is the most PR aware Commissioner that I remember. He understands, rightly so, that the NFL makes its money from TV and its sponsors. This gives us some leverage. Boston is the 5th largest media market and the 2nd wealthiest major market. In addition, most of the other top markets have...

BB told us what he would do this offseason at the Pro Bowl

If you grab every 4th letter of odd dated press releases from BB, you will see that he has predicted WW3, the return of Christ and GW Bush's IQ. BB is a great coach and manager, but he is not a prophet. You can go back and cherry pick statements to prove a point, but that does not actually prove...

    Tom Brady as a person.

I sat next to Tom at a Sox game back in summer of 2002. Great guy and a Sox fan too(at least that night). Really down to Earth and funny. I tried to buy him a beer, he would not let me. Instead, he bought me the beer:). I briefly met Dan Marino back in the early 90's at Disney World. He...
