I'm imagining the following dialogue between Phil Simms and Jim Nantz during the Patriots first offensive possession of the '07 season:
Nantz: "...and on the offensive line, the Patriots have Matt Light, Logan Mank--"
Simms [interrupting]: "Hold on, Jim! It's just Koppen out there now!"...
I agree that Nelson is a better safety than Landry. Landry might have better tools, but watching them both play this season, I came away with the impression that Nelson is a bit more instinctive, a bit more natural. Also, I wouldn't have believed that Landry would do better than a 4.55 or so...
I disagree. Kevin Curtis can play the slot, but he's more of a pure outside guy. He's more Terry Glenn, while Wes Welker is more Troy Brown. Huge difference, but they're both useful receivers.
That said, I wouldn't mind seeing Curtis here, but everything I've read suggests he's really not...
