    Indianapolis Pats Tailgate

The Patriots are on to Indianapolis and so are we. Tim Reuter's Stadium Tavern is a Pats fan owned bar within easy walking distance to Lucas Oil Stadium. We'll be hosting Patriots fans all weekend, and our location makes us an ideal tailgating destination. You can eat, drink use our free...

Thank you to everyone who came out over the weekend. It was a tough loss but you guys made it easier.

Yes. It's like that all over the place. The Stadium Tavern tonight was ALL Patriots.

LOS in part of the village - there is a heavy concentration of bars in the vicinity including The Stadium Tavern where I'll be. I don't want to try to steal people away from Broad Ripple but I'm staying downtown to avoid the insanity. There are tons of good bars in that area.

Also - the police presence downtown this week reminds me of Capitol Hill. There are cops on nearly every corner.

It's a safe walk - but it's sort of a long walk. I'll be completely honest, there isn't anywhere in the immediate downtown area that I would consider unsafe. Indianapolis isn't a very dangerous city.

The Living Room Lounge is probably the closest bar... If you get down to Georgia & Penn The Pub and Howl at the Moon are great (this is also inside Super Bowl village)

That's not a terrible area by any means. My dad used to own a really cool bar just a bit south of there on Penn & St Joseph called The Living Room Lounge. It's super eclectic, with a really random mix of people. I've never had a negative experience in that neighborhood.

Is a stadium with obstructed views of the field common? This seems slightly deranged to me.

One of the NFL Experience volunteers in this thread said they were outrageous there - and the Lids store was a much better place to buy them.

Parking - Home Page Partying - the Stadium Tavern across from Lucas Oil, then Broad Ripple on Saturday night for the Average Joe's party.

If your kids are over 21 you guys are welcome to come to the Stadium Tavern to watch with Patriots fans. There is more info available in this thread - but the basics are $100 including $25 of food and drinks per person.

No - I have nothing to do with this particular event. I was just passing along word of it. I hear there will be an outdoors thing as well - but I don't know for certain. Barry is working on getting more details.

I'm told the biggest Patriots party of the week will be at Average Joes in Broad Ripple on Saturday night.

I'm hearing of a big Patriots party at Average Joes in Broad Ripple. I guess it's the same people who have done them at past Super Bowls. I'm in no way affiliated with it, but it sounds cool. Just wanted to share. It sounds like this will be the official Patriots party, but don't hold me...

I just emailed Fred Kirsch to see if Friday worked for them. If it does we'll change it. I'm following this thread closely and will keep folks posted.

For those going to indy: Where are you watching the game?

In fairness - the $100 includes $25 of food/drinks and the other nights the entire $25 applies to food/drinks.

    3rd Hoosier Pats Fan

Patriots fan in Indy here. Started Indy Pats Fans this year (registered on Patriots.com) We're still really small - we meet at my dads bar The Stadium Tavern at 802 S. west St. Right across from Lucas Oil Stadium.

That's a possibility - let me hear back from Fred Kirsch once he gets into town and we'll see what works best for everyone.
