as a Charger fan, I can only hope that Patriot players are even just 1% as distracted by all this as the Pats fans.
I do agree that Adalius has as good a skills as anyone in trying to shutdown Gates. I don't believe he can do it by himself so the question is two fold.....how much more do the...
woah, don't go overboard on giving other teams in the league respect!!:) . If you truly believe you are going 19-0 this year than just say it:rocker:
I can't wait for this game for so many reasons just like you guys. For our sake, I hope we continue to run LT. NE has not yet shown they can...
Re: OT: It's snowing in San Diego
50's is cold to me. I don't like snow and can do without "seasons" I like the sunshine. That's just me though, not saying it's for everyone.
now the real question......am I going to have to actually wear long pants and shoes to the game tomorrow?
Re: OT: It's snowing in San Diego
while it's a little chilly for us San Diegans today, even in January, there will be no snow tomorrow and there will not even be rain. Forecast is sunny skies and temps in the 50's.
I know.....you are laughing that I say in the 50's in January is cold.
It sure does seem that as the game gets closer, more and more Pats fans on this board sink down to the level of the Charger fans they are complaining about.
of course any team would like to be up at the half. That being said....keep in mind that Rivers does have the best QB rating of ANY quarterback in the NFL in the 4th quarter.
before you even start......NO, I'm not saying that Rivers is better than Brady and I'm not even saying that I'd rather...
I can admit that the Pats have the edge on the DL. I will say though that ,assuming he's close to full strength, with Castillo back it's not that huge of a gap. Still is definitely advantage Pats but not by a mile as some might say.
bottom line for me this week is this......do I think the Chargers will win? yes. Am I a little biased? of course. Will I be extremely dissapointed if they lose? yes. Will I be shocked and consider it some big upset? no way. Damn.....it's the AFC and it's the 2nd round. Every team at this stage...
the key thing to remember with any standout defensive player whether that be Merriman, Seymour, or whoever.......they CAN all be neutralized but at what cost?
sure, go ahead and put 3 blockers on the other teams defensive star but then what happens to the rest of your blocking scheme and...
check it out buddy......I don't choose to be a member of 32 NFL message boards and be a regular poster on each board all week. Yes, I signed up for your board this week to discuss this game. Win or lose on Sunday, I won't be back. If that bothers you then I'm sorry. You can search all my posts...
I'm trying to somewhat agree with you guys but because I have a lightining bolt under my name you are refusing to hear it.
OF COURSE the game on Sunday is all that matters. Wow, a relevation. But all anyone can talk about leading up to a game is opinions and stats. Stats can only go so far...
I agree as well but let's be honest here.....what would there be to discuss if we all just said that no stats or past history were relevant and therefore not worth even discussing?
everyone could just sit in silence ????
then I guess if it that's obvious I'm sure the Chargers know about it too. So the question will then be more of how it affects the Chargers offense and the rest of their blocking scheme if they consistently have to assign help on Seymour.
