Re: Speculation: Mankins may ask for the biggest contract for a guard in league histo
this is a side effect of the 'genius' front office.....since they don't extend until the last possible moment.
lets hear again how justin tuck beat mankins on one play and that makes him not top 5.....I...
Re: Speculation: Mankins may ask for the biggest contract for a Guard in league histo
sez you.......even though mankins was a unanimous probowl starter twice in the last 3 years.
heh.....chris snee....LMFAO
actually, you are wrong.....mankins was a probowler last year (2009), and a starter at that......just sayin'
mankins is the only OL to have played and started every game the last 5 years....just sayin'
I don't believe neal was ever a probowler......yes, replacing neal is a priority, but...
blah blah blah.....the pats are currently at 114M with 90 players signed and a continued CBA would have had the cap at 132M (and this includes the salaries of flotsam like springs, taylor, and they already have a replacement for light in vollmer, and a replacement for guyton in spikes although...
because a blitzing defense has proven a fairly effective weapon against it.
I believe the 2 TE offense of years past would also be more effective at keeping the defense off the field for longer periods.
the TE's need to be more involved so the offense can be more physical
the pats are currently far below what would have been the cap this year, and are positioned to be far below anything that will be agreed to in the future.....and getting mankins extended would not upset that balance
LMFAO.....yeah mankins ain't that good.......
mankins belongs on that list of 7-8M guys........you're just a homer and a BB ball-washer if you think otherwise
if deion branch could shoot his way out of town, so can mankins
so what do we say about brady and the plays he made more recently? like against the ravens.....is he OK, just OK?
you going to evaluate mankins on the basis of one play?
he's been to the probowl twice and hasn't missed a game in his career.
your logic is flawed
childbirth wreaks havoc on the vajayjay.........even on a supermodel......I wonder if she had an episiotomy......maybe she had plastic surgery to shrink the butterfly.......she will be on the next episode of Dr. 90210
on the surface, she is still quite beautiful, but the word on the street is that childbirth has got her all stretched out and she looks like a hot dog that's been microwaved for 5 minutes down there
the problems against the pass are part of the problem
when you have guys like chad henne throwing at will, the defense tries to compensate .... which leaves it more prone to giving up the run....pretty simple, really
that and the fact that jarvis green was a liability against the run
the meriweather pick was fine......as for the draft, it wasn't that weak as there were plenty of day 2 prospects to be had and plenty of draft picks to get them....the pats just missed on them all.
the pats drafted rogers and lua as LB's......nothing out of either one while they could have...
actually, mckenzine, woods, and cunningham are the 8th,9th, and 10th LB's
TBC and spikes are (or should be) part of the 5th, 6th, and 7th LB's
the pats have only 2 starting caliber LB's on the team and they are both inside.
