Just as on all boards, there are trolls. However, my suggestion is to just ignore them and they will go away. I have no problem with Pats fans coming over to the Jets boards. While most are there to gloat about their team's superiority, they do tend to liven things up.
For all of the Jets limitations, they did not "get rolled" by either the Bills or Texans. Nevertheless, I believe the Pats will be a big challenge for them, to say the least.
As a Jets fan, I can just tell you the flaws I see in my team. Fitzy's guts, combined with Decker and Marshall's ability to get open have been the primary reasons for any scoring opportunities the Jets have. The early rushing success Chris Ivory had has waned as the season has progressed due...
For the first time in a few years, this is a matchup that fans of other NFL teams will be interested in watching. Thus stated, the key to beating the Jets at this point in the season is neutralizing Marshall and Decker. If the Pats defense can do this, it should be an easy victory for you guys.
In wet weather, an underinflated ball is a little easier to grip and catch. Being that balls are supposed to be inflated anywhere from 12.5 to 13 psi, being under-inflated by 2 psi is somewhat significant. Even more damning, however, is the fact that one ball was not under-inflated...
From a perspective of attracting new fans, I agree with you. However, I'm fifty years old and have always rooted for the Jets. It's an addiction which I'll never be able to overcome. :(
As for your not encountering any Jets fans who are knowledgeable about football, my theory is that all New...

I agree completely. You guys have a great owner, a great QB and a great coach. The way the club is run screams stability. Unfortunately, many in your fanbase take the success for granted, not realizing just how good you have it.
While I do feel the Pats could use a legitimate #1 receiver, I really believe they have one of the most well balanced offenses in the NFL. The reason your team lost tonight was the defense's inability to adjust once the Ravens decided to air it out after halftime. Relax - the offense is fine.
:D
All I can do is laugh along with you. Once things reach a certain level, I can no longer get angry. Many Jets fans are just as entertained by the team's "events" as you guys are. Fortunately, tonight we had something else to be amused by.
There are idiots on every forum. Anyone who says "the Pats suck" or "Brady sucks" is delusional. I came over to this forum tonight to gain insight from fans who know about their team. Unfortunately, I fell victim to the troll who started this thread. At least you'll sleep tight knowing your...
If the Ravens had not come out of the locker room at halftime deciding to go pass first - the Pats would have won the game. As others have said, the inability to put heat on Flacco definitely put the DBs at a big disadvantage.
