Ballboy may not be the best position for him. I just read a scouting report on Culpepper in Ballboy Weekly and they say that Culpepper has trouble holding onto the ball. I agree that his upside is phenomenal but I think he's better suited for Gatorade guy
He is absolutely a steal. This guy is a wall that cant be run on. Unfortunately I think he's limited to a 4-3 DE. I think he would be a reach for a 3-4. Still great eye by the scouts to check him out. You never know. He should be a first round talent but what's great is he may be available with...
Very nice writeup. I think the reason you dont recall Merling that much is because he was constantly double and triple teamed. He's very difficult to project but I think he could possibly outshine Long in the long run and be the class of the DE prospects. He might be able to transition to any...
Gholston would amke alot of sense for the first rounder but I would pay attention to the combine numbers of Phillip Merling out of Clemson. Not sure if he can play 3-4 OLB but if his numbers look good speed wise and if the coaches believe he can do it I think he would be better than Gholston...
Thought he got outcoached too but he's young. I wouldnt give up on him yet. He puts together good gameplans but has an inability to adjust on the fly. That should come with more experience
From an outsider's perspective there is something off with your offense from previous years but I dont think playcalling is that much a part of it. The receiving crew you have brought in is made of serviceable players but noone that is going to take over a game when needed. I'm not sure losing...
Thanks. I enjoy this site. You guys really understand the game and you have honest assessments. I love talking football but too often you get into high school arguments and putdowns on other sites. That seems to be pretty rare on this site and its refreshing to see. I hope it stays that way...
Alot of you have posted some great observations on how to beat us. From a Dolphin perspective I would say that the following need to be done
When Miami has the ball
LOT McIntosh is a weak link. You absolutely have to exploit that matchup in the passing game. Additionally, our line has...
that's my point. this is a media creation. think about it. sban just went through cap hell for two years. Next year will be the first where he has alittle flexibility not to mention the year after where he will have even more room to maneuver. Why would he want to leave just before his situation...
Pro football weekly is late to the game alot. This is a story that was drummed up by the Miami beat writers about three weeks ago and effectively died out two weeks ago. PFW is a great publication when getting an overwiew of the league but timeliness is not one of its better virtues
