We have to have patience, the Front Office was not aware that you can also make trades. Someone informed them and next year they will consider both signings / trades.
Somehow I would feel better if they had added:
WR - Juedy - 5th / 6th round picks
Or
WR - Keenan Allen - 4th round pick
QB -...
I can think of at least one team with a lot of needs… honestly draft picks are 50/50 at best, get a bunch of them and build up the trenches and find a way to get a QB over the next 2-3 years.
Not feeling like 2024 is going to be a 17-0 season.
Wake me up after the draft.
Anyone recommend any sites that provide a continuously updated depth chart.
Be interesting to see the new names in slots and where there is still work to be done.
Thanks in advance friends.
Damn, the Mac Jones for Jerry Juedy trade rumor I started is now dead :-(
Good trade for Browns.
I would have liked to have Juedy, add a day 2 option in the draft, sign Barkley and the offense looks way better.
Very thorough, he will be wrong (just like everyone else) but I learned a lot.
Macro view looks like Williams or Daniels, the rest are a reach at three. Wish we lost one more game…
NFL.com does a nice job with their profiles and rankings each year. Looks like no super elite talent, bad year to have pick 3.. :-(

What about a trade with Denver for Sutton or Juedy for Mac Jones? They get a competent backup QB (cough), someone who can compete as a potential starter and cap relief.
We get an upgraded piece at WR.
Maybe we throw in a 5th as well.
Cap figures ( for team receiving the player in a trade)

I also am ok with the trade back if they don’t feel pick 3 offers a starter+level QB.
Especially like a trade back if it is to another team in the 6-12 because most of those teams suck, and I think we will be pretty bad as well. Load up with two top ten picks next year.
The good news is we...
Yep, I took a look just to re-remind myself how important an elite QB is in the NFL.
Over the past 20 years only Nick Foles and Joe Flacco have won a superbowl and won’t be in the HOF. Assumes Big Ben, Eli, Russell Wilson make the hall with Rodger’s, Brees and Brady obvious locks.
QB are bust...
Playoffs in three years seems realistic, using this year as step 1.
The bad news is we have serious holes at most offensive positions.
The good news is the every roster in the NFL has a 60-70% turnover rate over a 3 year stretch. We also have a chance to start the reset of the roster with...
Captain obvious checking in, KC continues to impress me. Mahomes is already a lock hall of famer and proved his grit playing and winning with 1/2 leg last year.
With Reid and Spags they have two all time greats running the offense and defense and have completed shifted from run and gun to...
The presser confirmed my initial view.
Mayo and Kraft are tight (Thunder Cat - eye roll), and Jerod seems like a good guy, trustworthy, smart, etc.
Bold move by Kraft to pick someone who has never been a head coach before and put them at the helm of his largest asset. Especially without taking...
Me too! I was at Brady’s last game as well.
Remember when BB started the Pats were still in the old junky stadium and the surrounding area was a super dump. A lot has changed and BB was a huge part of the success. From a wide angle it is pretty spectacular.
Curious if any has ideas on what the...
I agree never too early, before the draft teams like to have a capable (cough) player at every position then add gravy over the roster through the draft.
The NFL provides the opportunity for a 2-3 year turnaround, the playoffs in 2 years is not unreasonable. By then there will be greater than...
Definitely underdogs from here on out, if they beat the Jets twice and get a top 3 pick I consider the season a success.
