BB thought he was drafting Eugene Wilson, db from Illinois. It was a deja vu moment.
Seriously, this rd 2 is a disaster. Wilson at 48 is a major reach. At 62, with Randle, Josh Robinson and Taylor on the board, they move back an entire round in order to pick up a 5th??? Jeez, Wilson would...
I think he's more like this year's Kyle Brady. In '07 the Pats used a lot of 2 TE sets. In '08 that set was de-emphasized because Thomas is not the blocker Brady was. Baker will bring back the 2 TE set.
Re: Reiss: James Sanders Signs
I agree with bdog. There was a reason the Pats 3rd down D and red zone D was among the worst in the league (against a cupcake schedule). It wasn't Vrabel, it was the DBs. Rodney at his age rehabbing from another major injury is still way better than Sanders...
Plenty of room on that bandwagon. He's failed at 2 teams so far. Don't want him. I'd rather have a veteran re-tread like David Patten or Drew Bennett. Neither is very exciting, but they'd be cheap.

As a past skeptic (weren't we all??), congrats to Matt for cashing in big time! Not only that, we owe Matt a word of thanks for getting good value back to the Pats when most of us didn't care a year ago if he walked away.
I've got no problem with that. You mean we can't have Pats fans everywhere? What about Red Sox Nation? If you're a fan, welcome! I don't deny the Steelers the same right.
