Talk about Hubris (see that word alot lately, figured i'd be cool also and use it), I remember another QB whose initials are Drew Bledsoe who thought he was irreplaceable.
Like most of you I watched all four games. I did not see one call for helmet to helmet although replays showed many. Very few if any pass interference or defensive holding, once again replays showed some. May have been a roughing the passer but I don't remember any. The only calls being made...
Did anyone notice the lack of flags in these games? Were there any calls for helmet to helmet contact? As in every game there were numerous instances of helmet to helmet contact but no flags. Pass interference? I saw several obvious plays but then again no flags. It had nothing to do with the...
I hate Favre as much as the next guy but you guys are taking this to another level. It's none of the NFL's business what to consenting adults do with their freekin cell phones. The feminization of America.
Perfectly awful matchup on a perfectly awful network. Your gonna lose sleep over a 1 or 2 spot loss for a draft pick? If the steelers even come close to losing this game there would have to be an investigation by the Feds never mind the NFL.
NFLN - Theisman/Millen, nuff said
No opinion on all the others. Someone said they didn't like the Song on NBC, hope you didn't mean the singer, if you did their is something wrong with you.
Baseball is run by the players union, therefor it su-ks and i'm not interested. If that happens to pro football then I guess i'll have to be satisfied with college ball on Saturday. I live in Arizona, is freakin 75 outside, what the heck am I doing watchng tv!
Maybe it was the pressure to win here in New England. Winning is expected here not so much in Cleveland. Let's face it if he were a more competent tite end Brady might have looked his way a little for often.
Re: Catching up with Drew Beldsoe
The road to relevance started with Drew Bledsoe and not Tom Brady. I will always remember the comeback overtime win against the Queens back in the day or the overtime win against the Phoons. Those games will always stick in my mind when I think about Bledsoe.
The "little wood that could's" attitude seems to be more in tune with the Pats then the Jets. I just love to watch little guys in a big guys game. Ballsy little sum*****.
The NFL will only be happy when teams score everytime they get the ball. They are trying to appeal to a younger group that likes watching teams run up and down the field. The NFL should watch out, they thought they were immuned to pressure from another league back in the 60's.
Benny is a strong North/South runner who hits the hole hard on every play. He may or may not have deficiences in the passing game but he comes to play every Sunday. He'll never be spectacular but will be steady and reliable, kind like Faulk guy evolved over the years.
