Based on his comments today, he sounds like he is not very fired up to be playing.
On the basis of not being football ready, I say he has no impact at all or the pass rush gets worse.
Does anyone disagree with this?
Shut down corners are not easy to find.
AS has played really well for the eagles (I have watched all of their games).
The Patriots simply could NOT replace him and his ability to get turnovers.
Every JAG they have brought in has not come close to his...

You don't honestly believe that the difference between a 13th and a 20th pick is worth sacraficing all of a teams, self respect, competitive nature, integrity, work ethic, example for younger players and adopting a we are loser attitude
do you really?
Agree:
defense needs to change.
I thought BB used to be known for an agressive attacking defense...not this soft marshmellow, bend a hell of a lot and break most of the time approach.
The Patriots will not contend for a SB this year even if tehy make the playoffs.
They don't have...
Re: Injuries have just caught uip to the patriots this year...not an excuse but a fac
Lets just face facts..the Steelers are a much better team. They have a much better defense and have played a much tougher schedule and are simply better this year, period.
Some of those turnovers and...
Re: Very disappointing.
I don't think anyone should over react.
They have had a serious problem with injuries and just are too paper thin at too many positions.
the Steelers are simply better than them this year and yes the Patriots had a bad game, but its also the same team who scored 79...
Actually for the Patriots to be 7-5 at this point, in my view is an accomplishment.
Every one of those players are trying the best. They are NOT underperforming. They are simply undermanned with quality players.
The losses of Brady, Adalius Thomas, Warren, Lamont Jordan, Maroney, Harrison...
Tom looked pretty gaunt and thin in the pictures yesterday.
I want nothing more than for Tom to play his entire career for the Patriots.
In my view any one who has even suggested that the Patriots consider trading TB are not real patriots fans and are complete ingrates.
Tom has made...
BB, Pees and Capers have been around the block a few times.
they know the Defense must improve significantly for the Patriots to contend.
I believe that some major changes are ahead, includingpossibly switching to 4-3 and markedly increasing blitzing and confusing alignments.
the only...
Re: Cassell hype on this board reaches epidemic proportions
Anyone on this board who think the Patriots will wrangle draft picks from any other NFL team for Cassel is delusional.
He is going to FA and will sign with some team for 4-5 million per year.
Kevin O'Connell will be Patriots #2...
Re: OT: McNabb didn't know a tie was possible
What an embarassment for both the head coach and QB
The play calling at the end for the Eagles was really odd, this may explain it.
Look at some of the threads:
1. Should Patriots sign Cassel instead of Brady
2. Cassel has arrived
3. Lombardi says Cassel should be franchised if Pats want to keep him
Even the Cowboys were cautious with Tony Romo about signing him to a megadeal. They wiated to see consistency in his...
Lets get real about MC
1. He is not as good as Aaron Rodgers
2. No one including the Patriots will risk having to pay him 11 million for even one year
3. Any minimal success he has had to date is a product of the Patriots system
4. He has had a couple of good games
He is NOT going to be...
You can not franchise a player with the intent of trading him, that violates the CBA.
There is no way the Pats will put that much money into a backup QB. Cassell willl leave and the Pats will only get a 4th round comp pick for him
