If it's an ACL, I think the trainers and medical staff would probably know right away from some basic tests. I don't think they'd have to wait for the MRI to be sure.
Actually, Silver is the one name I do trust when it comes to Brady info. I believe he's close to Brady and the family from way back, and he always gets Brady information and quotes that other reporters don't.
This just blows. Even putting aside the rest of this season, it just sucks to see a...
My stomach is telling me this game, for me, is one of the biggest I can remember. I only recall being this nervous and anxious before Game 7 in '04. I've never felt this way before any of the other Superbowls.
Time cannot move fast enough.
He's right that if Goodell thinks that the Patriots held something back and there's proof of it, he will have no mercy on Belichick. Goodell is taking a lot of hits right now pretty much because he took the Pats at their word that there was nothing else.
Personally, I can't wait for the tell...
Re: Fire Tomase and his Editor Tomorrow
The source in the story is not the guy who videotaped, it's someone "close to the team" who says he knows about someone taping the practice. Just one source, and not the one who videotaped.
Re: Kurt Warner Cries while Bledsoe steps up
Warner does say in there that other players have told him that their teams steal signals too. So at least he's not taking the "well I never!" line that some others are.
Re: Kurt Warner Cries while Bledsoe steps up
Has anyone been watching NFLN? Most likely they're avoiding the issue, but if not, I would love to see Faulk's reaction. Especially if the Pats win tomorrow!
Re: Matt Walsh: This Guy Is a Scumbag....
You mean if Walsh's copy is the only one, the Pats could say "hey, he did it on his own, not for us!" If that's what you're saying, I'm not sure how they could pull that off. Why would he be taping if it wasn't for the Pats?
Re: Matt Walsh: This Guy Is a Scumbag....
Could be, or maybe Walsh made a copy of the tape for himself and the Pats don't know that.
Anyway we're basically living in the land of assumptions until the next Walsh interview, which I predict will be conducted by Tomase and released during...
Re: Fire Tomase and his Editor Tomorrow
I doubt it, since as you say the rumor's been around for a while. My guess is no one wanted to run with it until they could get at least another source to support. Tomase ran with it anyway.
This means nothing, the NFL is just covering its own a** with this statement. If something does come out, the league can say "the Patriots lied to us!" and Goodell can point to his first Spygate statement where he said more sanctions would be on the way if the Pats didn't tell him everything...
The cover up is always the worse than the crime, so I hope the Pats are being truthful here and that there's no tape that's going to turn up and make Goodell throw a fit.
Now, time to kill the Giants! Less than 24 hrs away...
More Matt Walsh, from ESPN
Mods, please merge if this is one too many Matt Walsh threads.
But here's some new stuff, from ESPN:

They're going to take away his 401k plan?
Ernie Adams, the cog that keeps the Nixon regime running...
Just heard a little bit, when he was talking about Brady:
"I love this kid...he's like a son...treats the practice squad guys the same way he treats me, etc..."
