That's not how its working. In fact, its the exact opposite. He's leading the league in yards per attempt, and he is at the bottom of the league in YAC. Tua is consistently hitting tight windows in the intermediate to deep portions of the field...
He has his Miami WR's confused. Bess will not be a free agent... Hartline will be.
Bess IMO is a Welker clone... and up there as one of the best slot WRs in the league.
Wasnt knocking Ridley. He's on my fantasy team so I've watched him quite a bit. Was just saying that Vereen's style would probably be more effective against our defense... as the only backs that have had any success against our defense have been Chris Johnson and CJ Spiller...
I would have to disagree with this one part. We have done very well all season against RBs, especially the grinder types like Ridley (love Ridley though, been huge for me in fantasy! :D). The only issue we've had is the speedy quick backs, maybe like Vereen.
I dont think you'll rush much...
Ya, this year we've seemed to be more of the "bend but dont break" type of defense. Allowing all kinds of yards... but then clamping down in the red zone.
However, I'm sure Brady will break us a few times, lol...
Well, we made it to 4-3. And then we hit a real rough patch for 3 games. If you want to point to the biggest difference in those struggles, it was the OL. Couldnt pass pro or run block... and it reduced our already weaker offense into rubble...
I'm hoping whatever caused that for the OL...
Oh man... if thats the only game you've seen of ours... ya we looked pretty horrific. It was easily our worst game by far. I wanted to turn the game off (but of course couldnt, lol).
That game was a trainwreck. Pretty much everything that could have possibly gone wrong... did.
We cant...
Which I'm sure you are well aware that those shows typically are filled with lazy analysis entailing looking at box scores, lol. He didnt play well... but there was a whole lot more behind the struggles than the QB, as I outlined in the previous post.
Its no coincidence that when we stop...
There has been more to the "streakyness" than just him. Obviously, a rookie QB has his ups and downs... but a big part of the 2 game stretch where people said "he had hit the rookie wall"... also coincided with a couple other big factors. First, his knee was still hurt from when he got knocked...
Actually, yes... I keyed in on that match up pretty much all game. You never get to watch the secondary play when at home on your TV. I cant stand the damn sideline TV angle. The sooner they get a "Madden-like" view or the equivalent that shows the whole field and (gasp!)... the whole play...
We had it occasionally when mixing up coverages... but more often than not we had Bell on man coverage on Hernandez leaving Clemons in a Cover 1 in the deep middle...
That is incorrect. We couldnt afford to put our Safeties in a Cover 2 very often, b/c of your TEs, especially Hernandez. We didnt want to cover him with a LB, so we put Bell on him pretty frequently. That put us in a ton of Cover 1 with Clemons in the deep middle of the field...
We...
Care to go into some more detail?
What coverages do you think we were using? Zone/man? Were you studying how often Vontae used inside technique vs. outside? Press tech or off tech? When exactly did Moss get open? What coverages did he beat?
Due tell...
