Re: Belichickians getting fired (Weis, Groh)
I wouldn't want Crennel back. He's a good coordinator, but he wanted to stay in cleveland after he was fired to work with Fredo. So he was loyal to either the team that fired him or mangina. No thanks.
Re: Reiss: Brady leads team in penalties.
Your are right on this. BB talked about those penalties during his interview with the big show this week. He said both plays were snapped in time. In fact, on one of the penalties, there were TWO seconds left on the play clock!
I vote no (of course, I'm sure BB is really interested in my opinion). The guy is a jerk. More importantly, he is just not good anymore. Besides, who do you cut? I'd much rather have Morris and/or Taylor, along with Maroney and Faulk. This move would make no sense to me.
One play I think changed the tone of the game a bit was late in the first half. The Patriots were driving down the field around the 2:00 mark. It was 3rd and 3 (or 4). Brady threw the ball to Welker and it went right through his hands. Instead of a first down and possibly extending the lead...
No way. The Patriots signed him last year after he was cut by the broncos. Then, he fights to get out of his contract with the Patriots to go back to the broncos. BB wouldn't touch this guy with a ten foot pole, IMO.
Chad Brown cannot play inside. Hopefully, he's only backing up the OLB. I still think he can play a bit on the outside. (I say as I duck rotten tomatoes hurled in my direction).
