I'm not idicting the guy, nor do I know his stats for the season. I'm just curious as to whether anyone else here shares my feelings. Those feelings being that he seems out of synch with Brady A LOT of the time in my eyes.
... I'm just not feeling it. Sure, he had a couple nice games recently, but yesterday looked to me like the majority of this season. Is there some kind of chemistry between he and Brady that I'm missing? I try not to be negative, but I'm not all that enthusiastic about his role in this O...
I said it then, and I'll say it now. They should have done this in the preseason, and kept Levoir, or picked up another o-lineman.
Price did ZERO while he was here.
I ain't always right, but I was dead on with this one, and I'm giving myself a pat on the back.
Agreed about the running game (as indicated in my "Where's the running game?" thread.
and the fact that we were "behind" most of the game is completely irrelevant. Behind by how much? So, we run ONLY when we're ahead? Nonsense.
It seems the concensus is that the secondary, while it may improve, will be a liability for the rest of the year, at least to some degree. That said, ball control would seem to be the best way to protect a suspect defensive secondary. Bad enough to have a 3 and out, but to do it while eating up...
Call me Capt. Obvious, but wtf? Not to oversimplify, but the vulnerability of our secondary, especially this week with the recent cut to Bodden/Dowling IR news, was not exactly a secret. Would'nt you want to run the ball and control the clock in order to protect a weakend defensive unit?
