    Saban inside info on Welker???

HA! maybe I am overestimating sabans value to the pats! I think welker will be an asset though. At least we have been able to see him audition in the big leagues.

    Saban inside info on Welker???

With Saban going back to the college ranks, I think there is a good chance that BB consulted him on the Welker deal. Much like BB consulted with Saban when he was the HC at LSU. Now that the dynamics of their relationship have changed, Saban can once again be an asset to the Pats.

    NFL Draft=Christmas as a kid

totally agree I can totaly relate...If I put as much energy and zeal into my career as I do the draft, I would be writing this message from a yacht in the carribean. Can't Wait!!!!!!!!

Kipers Patriots Picks, first 4 rounds (a look back at 2006)

agreed I agree with you on Gocong, but I want some of whatever mel was smoking when he chose the rest of his picks.

Chargers, 49ers swap first-rounders CB Davis, WR Woods

ridiculous thats kind of a ridiculous thing to say about smith considering the guy has been in the league for one year and plays on one of the least talented teams in the league. The verdict is still out on smith, give the guy a chance.

enough with the greenway B**L S**T

First off, I am a huge college football fan, and I have seen Iowa play on more than a few occasions. My personal favorite was when I watched Greenway rack up 16 tackles against michigan last year. Sure I agree that there are alot of guys that put up alot of tackles. When you combime...

enough with the greenway B**L S**T

With all due respect, thats ridiculous...you don't get credited that many tackles with out making your reads, shedding blocks, and sticking the ball carrier. period. I am also from the school that toughness ( to a degree) can be developed. I think if you put this guy under the watch of vrabel...

enough with the greenway B**L S**T

156 tackles last year...416 career tackles(5th all time @ Iowa)...Look, if you are afraid of contact you dont make 156 tackles in a season. This notion that Chad Greenway is not physical, or not a good tackler is absurd. Is he the hardest hitter in the draft? Probably not. There is a difference...

''Larry Johnson vs LaDainian Tomlinson [06]''

Not as ridiculous a question as it seems Who is the better back- LT hands down. Who will have a better season is subject to a little more debate.mmmmmmmmmm....ok I debated it, I will go with LT.

There MAY BE a cornerback named Ty coming to New England, but it ain't Ty Law!

I could not agree more. We definetly need to get bigger at CB, not smaller.

DB's shaping up! How about law now?

Bullocks (S NEB) and Marshall (CB Fres) scheduled for visits

Nothing big here, but maybe gives us a glimpse as to where they are looking early in the draft...maybe, possibly? I dunno? C'mon BB give us something to go on. I am dyin' over here!

    Sleeper thread

Mathias Kiwanuka This guy may not be a sleeper, but i think he is underrated. He has the frame to pack on 20 more pounds and be a Julius Peppers like force IMO. I think he may go earlier than most expect.

No RB or WR in first round! Please!

Bobby Carpenter I like him as well. The only thing is, alot of the reports I have read on him, say that he has recognition issues. I heard he was late alot getting to the ball. But he does seem to fit the Pats LB mold as well.

No RB or WR in first round! Please!

I am completely against drafting a WR in rd 1. I just don't feel the Value is there. Chad Jackson? Santonio Holmes? Sinorice Moss? I think in last years draft, these guys are, at the earliest, 2nd rounders. As for RB's, There is a little better value, but not much. This d'angelo williams...

Draft prospects on the move after personal workouts

Sims Let me ask you this Odlirama, how would jonathan vilma look in a pats uni? Well he is 6-1 230 and I think he does a pretty good job holding down the middle. I think sims at 234lbs is a legitamite option in rd 1.

Since when you are Patriots fans ?

good ole pissing contest.... ridiculous...everyone has been a fan since day one....right?

    Will Allen

I think Allen could be a good p/u if we don't spend crazy money on him...he is extremely fast and scrappy, seems like a BB type to me.

My 2006 2 Round Mock Draft, V.1 (3/7/2006) READ AND COMMENT!

Nice Work! I actually like the Bing pick. I would not be dissapointed at all if we chose him. As far as Box-O-Rox's argument that a safety is not of good value, I don't agree. Would one consider Troy Polamalu a good first rounder? I would, and I feel that Bing is of the same ilk as Polomalu...
