I agree, I would like to see Boyce get more reps. We had to throw Dobson and Thompkins into the deep end early in the season, as the offense sputtered and stuttered. Surely now we can give Boyce more reps, especially since the offense has found its feet again in recent weeks. It's a luxury we...
If ever there was a game where we needed to hear Zolack saying....
"BRADY'S BACK!!! THAT'S YOUR QUARTERBACK!!! WHO LEFT THE BUILDING??? UNICORNS!!! SHOW PONIES!!! WHERE'S THE BEEF???"
it was that Broncos game.
I am pleased with the progress of Thompkins and Dobson this season. Both were thrown in at the deep end at the start of the season with our decimated offense. They both appear to have learned a lot from the early season struggles and I can't help but be excited for their roles next season. But...
I agree, too often the role of a holder can be overlooked. Gostkowski's kicking has been excellent all season and I think Ryan's role has played its part. We need to extend the man and tie him up long term.
Eh, what field stretching option did he have? Because we haven't had one since Moss left. And no, Brandon hit the deck Llyod doesn't count.
I do remember thinking at one point that he could have ran on one play. But then I remembered why he probably kept looking to thread the needle and it...
It looks like a very nasty injury indeed. His season looks like it's over and I hope the poor guy can make a healthy return next season. It's never nice to see any player go down with these kind of injuries.
I also shared your panic when he didn't get up. I really, really, really hope this kid can stay healthy. Because I think he will be something special. Aaron?......Aaron who?
I was actually getting embarrassed watching the game last night Tebow was that bad. I missed the last preseason game and haven't looked at the replay yet. So last night was my first look at Tebow in a Pats jersey. I though his passing attempts were simply dire. Anybody who seriously thinks this...
Once he got into the game groove, I thought Mallett did pretty well last night. I've always liked the kid anyway and I think he would do a good job if Brady missed time. He always strikes me as the kind of player that would get better from game to game.
So the same man who has been a big proponent of knee braces, wasn't waering one . Hopefully everythings works out alright. And after today, I reckon Brady will be wearing braces even in bed.
Since we have only two choices, I go with Kapernick for two reasons. Firstly, I think he is a more intelligent runner with the ball. RG3 attracts trouble, hence his multiple knee surgeries. Kapernick's long ranging stride is decpetively fast and he is clever enough to minimise risk to himself...
