Mayo's Coaching Staff [Discuss Coaching Candidates Here!]

If Mayo is having trouble attracting good coaches, I'm just telling you what some are writing about as to why those rumors may be contributing to that difficulty

Mayo's Coaching Staff [Discuss Coaching Candidates Here!]

This Rooney rule DEI mandates have gotten out of control. Interviewing 2 non-whites for all these positions? Just go get the best GM, OC etc. Who cares what skin color they are. If the coach you want is a white guy, the new NFL rules are just wasting everyone's time

Mayo's Coaching Staff [Discuss Coaching Candidates Here!]

Mayo's first press conference hurt him as well in finding staff. There are other articles saying that Mayo was unloyal to Bill this season, not following BB's plans. Which means staff that liked BB are unlikely to stay and if they heard of any word of Mayo's actions/words, this will make good...

    Mayo's Intoductory Press Conference

I've never been in an NFL locker room. But I've played a lot of sports. And sports typically brings a team together regardless of upbringing, skin color, religion etc. I don't hear a lot of NFL players talking about racism in NFL locker rooms

    Mayo's Intoductory Press Conference

Me too. That's why in a locker room you don't want to keep focusing on skin color. You get past the external and get down to business.

    Mayo's Intoductory Press Conference

Of course we will see our teammate's or player's skin color, but with good teammates on good teams, we quickly get past that and are focused on working together, building a bond, and getting better together to have the best team possible. And making the locker room look like society is normally...

    Mayo's Intoductory Press Conference

Because if we're judging people by skin color, that would be racist

MLK once said judge by their character, don't judge by the color of skin.

    Sports Illustrated Layoffs

Putting fatties and transsexuals on their cover was the sign that the ship was going under. Same thing with society as well

    Mayo's Intoductory Press Conference

I guess in the end, like ring said, we will see how he views building this team and through what lens he views his team and locker room. I thought some of his comments throw up a big red flag. I hope he was just trying to appease those people in the media, NFL and corporate advertisers who...

    Mayo's Intoductory Press Conference

I'm addressing this press conference. What Mayo said in in his 1st interview, how he looks at players and what he wants his locker room to be like.

    Mayo's Intoductory Press Conference

Hopefully Mayo just said all that to cater to the woke NFL office, corporate advertisers and media. To keep them off his back if he has hard times next year. They like to hear that stuff. But it's concerning how much he went into it and tied it to how his locker room was going to be.

    Mayo's Intoductory Press Conference

10 years ago, I had never heard the term DEI. It's a recent term that universities and corporations use for pushing diversity initiatives. It's not a term invented by "right wing circles" as you claim
  17. B

    Mayo's Intoductory Press Conference

DEI= Diversity Equity and Inclusion It's a term commonly heard at universities and in large corporations.
  18. B

    Mayo's Intoductory Press Conference

    I don't watch that.

    Mayo's Intoductory Press Conference

I don't expect people who agree with his comments to understand what I'm talking about. Hopefully his DEI cultural Marxist worldviews don't truly dictate how he runs a team and manages this locker room. And if they do, this is going to be a bad experiment, and look out for locker room issues...

    Mayo's Intoductory Press Conference

It was more than just one time that he brought this stuff up. It should be a red flag because you don't want a leader that is operating with a hyperfocus on skin color so he can find racism
