I doubt it. I give them props for doing what they did but I think
they'll some key guys due to the cap and they have the Steelers
in that division AND the Texans, Colts, Broncos and Pats to contend
with in the AFC. I think they'll be in the tourney but not a deep run
A lot can change with FA and the draft, but usually even then here aren't ENOUGH
moves to shift things THAT MUCH, at least lately.
1. Baltimore - They de-facto start on top, they're Champs, simple as that. We all
complained when we got no respect during our run, well lets not be...
It’s between the Steelers, Texans, Packers and us. You got to think the first night of football is going to get big ratings anyway, so part of me thinks they aren’t gonna want to “waste” a good matchup on opening night, but then again the Ravens have 4 home games that could be considered “good...
That was absolutely a hold, there is no doubt about it. At the expense of sounding bitter or whiny, it’s BS that it almost SURELY would’ve been called versus us, that’s for damn sure. But it wasn’t called there? Give me a break
I think we are forgetting the team around him. In past years it was so much better. He can't do it alone. Yeah he has come up big in some spots, but he's also had guys who blocked him better to have more time, guys who didn't drop key catches and a defense that required he score less than he has...
I would say it is a safe bet. And even though teams hit there stride usually late in the season, I think that game will be a telling one as to what kind of season '13 will be.
IF the Ravens win and IF we open there, that game will mean a lot.
Let's hope San Fran opens up next season...
You know better than that, it wouldn't fit the narrative.
Anyway, we all know how annoying it was when a big deal was made
out of nothing (spygate), so lets not be hypocrites.
Ravens beat us fair and square. Congrats to them. Lets move on.
Is anyone who is a Patriots fan rooting for the Ravens? I doubt it. Really not much of a question, unless someone here has a quirky connection to Baltimore or knows a Ravens fans.
It’s been said a few times already in this thread, but reasonable chance we open at Baltimore next year if they...
Yeah this isn’t happening. Just for the reason people have said.
Imagine the backlash if he came here and played well and we won a big game for a change.
The Jets have had issues selling tickets late in the season at their new digs and the fanbase is very much fed up with those who run the...
Is this thread a joke? He’s only been in the league for three years and you can realistically say he might end up being the best or second best Tight End of all time. He is dominating offensively and is locked up long term and he buys into the Patriot way. You do NOT give up a player like that...
Of course I’m watching it. Not many people took the loss a week ago harder than me. But it’s the Super Bowl, it would be borderline un-American to not watch it.

Not a season ticket holder
Been a fan since I was 7 years old. First game I ever watched was with my grandmother, the AFC title game vs Jacksonville.
Sad day indeed for Pats nation. As an aspiring broadcast journalist and obsessive sports fan, I’ve always admired Gil. I think he has one of the best voices in sports. And ever since I’ve been a fan, I’ve tried to listen to every game with the radio on and the TV on mute. He deserved a better...
