Sheesh. What a mess. Enough already. Don't know about the rest of you, but I'm ready for pitchers and catchers. Wait...there's still a lockout. Damn. Winter Olympics anyone?
I thought the same thing. Really poor decision from a biz perspective. He's not stupid, so he must have thought this through and decided it was worth it. No one can hold a grudge like Brady. There's still time for damage control.
100% agree. I think he could be a good/great pocket passer if he loses some mobility. The guy has a cannon for an arm and is super accurate. Just like Elway. A lot of running qb's don't have that skill set.
Thanks Ken. I rarely post here, but I always keep coming back because of your analysis and insights. It won't be the same without them. You bring a level of professionalism to this board that's unmatched. Good on ya, and thanks!
That was a bad one, but I agree, some of those games in the 80's were real stinkers. Like some others, I really enjoyed the DE and LB play of both teams, particularly Carolina. Kuechly is just a beast. Still, this was a snoozer--one of the most boring in recent memory.
See above. Denver's D was awesome. Manning, however, sucked. This does nothing for his legacy. This was one of the most insignificant quarterbacking performances in Super Bowl history.
The Broncos have a problem in their locker room. This kind of toxic team culture does not last long in the spotlight. Kubiak better get this under control or this team will eventually implode--a pleasant thought actually.
I've lived in San Francisco, Seattle, NY City, Boston, and Denver. Bronco fans are the most graceless I've encountered, in both victory and defeat, and it's not even close.
I have the same feeling. It just seems like it's their year. They have found ways to win in tight situations all season, in addition to getting the calls and bounces when needed. You need luck to win the big one, and they seemed to gotten that gift this year. It kills me so admit this, as I live...
Manning didn't win or lose the game for Denver. He managed the game competently, at home, with a lead. Denver's D won that game. They were awesome. Still, I can't see this Bronco team winning the SB with this offense. I think they're going get pummeled by Carolina. It's an NFC year.
I live in...
I lost my dad to cancer 13 years ago. He has a tough road ahead, as does his family. I wish him nothing but the best. Football is just a game. Cancer is ****ing hell. Courage, Mort.
Thanks PatsDeb for posting this--I laughed so hard it brought me to tears. I was raised in Boston, but live in Colorado now. One of the things I miss most about Beantown are knuckleheads like Fitzy. You just don't find characters like this anywhere else. Go Pats.
