Simply heartbreaking to hear.
There are rumors that it was a heart attack BUT, many sites have stated that the CoD was undisclosed.

I'm seeing some stuff that says that there is maybe 1 RB worth taking before the 3rd round? I can't remember the last time the RB class was so weak.
Plus, I think it's absolutely ridiculous that so many decided not to do 3 cone and Short-Shuttle drills..
I know that certain people always thought Ferentz was kept because of nepotism. But going back 2 years, it's know that he helped push Dante's Ways on the O-line. He was a decent, but not great spot starter. He never rose to the level of Tom Ashworth
Good Luck to him going forward.
Just before 1:30 am EDT, a Cargo Ship supposedly had a mechanical malfunction and slammed into the Francis Scott Key Bridge at the mouth of Baltimore harbor. The resulting collision caused the entire 8,636 ft long bridge to collapse, taking an known number of passenger vehicles and semi trucks...
So, today is the day when the real CHAOS of Free Agency Starts. Not the tampering of the last 2 days.
There is 1 player who already changed his mind in Will Lutz. It will be interesting to see if anyone else does.
Patriots still need a Free Safety.
A veteran CB to start opposite...
With the retirement of Slater and Ferentz, the team letting Trent Brown walk, the release of Lawrence Guy and the expected release of JC Jackson, there are only 5 players left from the 2018/2019 SB winning team.
They are David Andrews, Deartrich Wise, Ja'Whaun Bentley, and Jonathan Jones. And...
Maybe it's just me, but it sure looks like the Combine is a couple days longer than it used to be.. It sure looks to me like all the testing except for the Bench press is going to be done the same day.. It also seems like there is more MEDICAL exams than before..

Seems that Jedd Fisch is adding youngsters to his staff. Adding Sunseri.. Going to be interesting to see what the Pats do in response.

So, I am starting the 2024/2025 Roster Transaction thread because there have been a few transactions that affect this roster. I'm linking the 2023/2024 Roster Transaction thread.
NOTE: The 2023 IR rules allowed for 8 players to return from IR after missing 4 games. I will update if this...
Hopefully, Jackson gets the help he needs and can lead a fruitful life going forward.

Starting this year, JUNIORS who have declared for the draft will be eligible to play in any of the 3 Draft Bowl Games the NFL announced in a letter to all 32 teams.
There aren't many "EDGE" players whom I think would be a schematic fit that are Free Agents. Still kinda surprised that the Pats haven't at least kicked the tires on Matt Ionnidis as a replacement for Ekuale, but that could be more about what he's looking for in a contract.
There are...
Ok All. I've taken a "LEAP" into the 2020s and put the transaction thread into a Google Sheet. I was pretty much forced to do this because of the 15,000 character limitation of the Bulletin Board. I had already had to move the Free Agency, Trades, and Draft Results and was STILL running out...
As reported by Schefter, the Pats have signed Will Grier off the Bengals PS. Grier was signed to the Pats 53. He takes the roster spot that was opened by the Pats being forced to put Marcus Jones on the IR with his injury.
I don't remember which game it was, but I can remember that Joe Andruzzi's brothers, who are both FDNY, were at a game and part of the pre-game ceremonies. If anyone as a screen shot of that and is willing to share, I'd appreciate it.
