Yeah there is no way you could organize a boycott of the games. The NFL knows that fans will show up to the games no matter what.
However the Fans can hit back in another way. I say we spread the word about boycotting all concessions at all NFL Games until the real refs return. Hit the...
We Want Real Refs! Boycott Concessions at all games!
I think it is time for Fans to take a stand and say enough is enough!
The NFL thinks they can do whatever they want and the fans will have no say because the fans will always go to the games no matter what. Well you know what, the NFL...
I tried to tell some of you guys the Cardinals Defense was solid. Kid~Brady took some crap but he ended up being right.
Anyways what a great game. Hope Hernadez is OK. Thanks for welcoming me to your board.
And again. Let me be clear.
I am in no way am saying that I think the Cardinals D will come into Foxboro and dominate the Patriots Offense. In fact I think it is just the opposite. With that said I don't know of many defenses that are able to stop Brady and the Patriots consistantly.
No that is my bad. I was looking at the wrong game.
Still if you average the two game its 5 catches for 77 yards and a half of a TD. I'd be more worried about stopping Gronk and Welker than Lloyd. I'd even throw Hernadez in there over Lloyd just because the Cardinals have a hard time with...
Most teams are. Still if you compare the two games the defense played fantastic in both. It was the offense that played better at home. Hence why they Beat the Niners that game.
He did have a defender draped all over him. Would someone like Fitzgerald make that catch? Yes. But we are talking about an ex-Jet here. No catch is easy for them.
Now lets look at how the Card D did the second time against SF:
1st Quarter
Cards D forces SF to punt on opening Drive
After Az O goes 3 and out SF takes over at AZ 43. Cards D holds SF to a FG
Az O goes 3 and out again. Cards D forces SF to punt.
Az goes 3 and out again and SF...
Really? 5 catches for 80 yards and no TDs.
If you knew anything about that game in SF you would know that:
1st Quarter:
Cards D holds SF and ends up blocking a 46 yard FG.
Skelton throws INT and SF gets ball on Cards 38. SF comes away with no points.
Cards D holds SF to a FG...
I think you may be confusing the TEAM with the Defense. The Defense could be better than last year. However issues on the offense could hold the overall team back.
yep. But at no fault to the defense as you can see by what I listed above.
And it wasn't considered a dropped pass by the way. It would have been an amazing catch if he had come down with it.
Losing Levi Brown was a huge blow. While Brown was average at best in pass protection. He was a mauler in the run game. Jeremy Bridges was supposed to start at RT heading into training camp. He also landed on IR.
So yes the Cards have moved to plan B on the OL. They are starting 2...
Ah yes the drive where the rookie QB:
faced 4th and 6th and kept the drive alive with a PI call
Got another PI call that put the ball on the 13.
Had 7 shots at the endzone from the 13 yard line and still couldn't get it in. This even with the confusion caused by the refs giving Seattle...
Just alright? Sure the Seahawks have a crappy offense but I thought the Cardinals Defense did a very good job against Seattle.
They held the Seahawks to 16 points. Now look where the Seahawks started when they scored those points:
Arizona 42 - Field Goal
Arizona 24 - TD
Arizona 34...
True enough. Not exactly offensive juggernauts. However you also have to consider that the Cardinals defense was put in real bad situations by the offense during this period. Very often they were forced to start on their own side of the field.
Also there is no denying that the Cardinals...
You have to remember that the Cardinals had a new OC in Ray Horton last year and he was trying to install the Steeler D with a shortened offseason. All of those QB you mentioned were played in the first 7 games of the season. I mentioned this before in another thread but initially the...
Yep. The Cardinals D has always struggled to contain elite TEs. Also as someone else mentioned in this thread, due to the aggressive nature of the Cardinals D, they are prone to give up big plays when screen passes are used against them.
