Now that he's signed, do we trade Welker?

Thats the problem with some "patriots" fans... snobby, pompus jackasses. "If you can't see it my way, you MUST be a pink hat fan". Sure sure lol :D. I don't know the game at all, never watched it, I just come on here and give my opinion for no good reason.. I don't follow this team at all. I...

Now that he's signed, do we trade Welker?

No not one single game! Didn't even make use of my season tickets at all.

Now that he's signed, do we trade Welker?

It just gets me going when people are all "well study the game like I do". Please. I've watched/played alot of football in my life. Welker is a GREAT and RARE talent... and in the right situations (given his situation here) he will continue to blossom and put up godly numbers. Seeing as the...

Now that he's signed, do we trade Welker?

You nailed it on the head my friend. I agree, I do not want to get rid of welker unless we are getting something sure in return. I just do not think teams will pony up and pay the price we as fans or Belichick as coach would expect in return. Heres to Welker staying a patriot for this season...

Now that he's signed, do we trade Welker?

I am not bashing this topic although... Its a good question and given the surprising nature of the draft and offseason anything is possible.

Now that he's signed, do we trade Welker?

"blah blah blah, if you study the game like I do , blah blah blah" Quit it. A slot reciever is not going to get #1 money, A slot receiver isn't going to make or break your team... The market for a slot receiver is not on fire despite Welkers continued excellence.. the fact remains... what we...

Now that he's signed, do we trade Welker?

Most of our Scoring came from Our Tightends... JUST SAYING. Infact, most teams backed off from welker giving him all the room to put up the stats he did and concentrated on taking away Gronk as best as they could because they knew Welker wasn't going to kill them on the scoreboard... JUST SAYING.

Now that he's signed, do we trade Welker?

St. Louis have Amendola... who was injured. Again lowering their need and giving them all the leverage if they wanted to enter trade talks...

Now that he's signed, do we trade Welker?

I'll tell you 2 teams that MAYBE MAYBE would pony up for Wes Welker and give the patriots fair return (but won't due to their situation) 1. Cheifs - Who are building around a system much like the patriots, except they drafted Devon Wylie * a guy I really wanted the pats to grab as insurance...

    :bricks: Totally missed my point.

Now that he's signed, do we trade Welker?

You guys really like taking one part of a huge statement and running with it. I admitted That Welker is the best slot receiver ever, I want him to stay. YOU ALL ARE MISSING THE POINT... WELKER IS WORTH MORE TO US THAN ANY OTHER TEAM! NO TEAM IS GOING TO GIVE US A FAIR RETURN IN ANY WELKER...

Now that he's signed, do we trade Welker?

Don't get my point confused.. Welker IS a great reciever, one of the very best I've seen with my own eyes... But at this point he is mostly a Luxury more than an absolute need...

Now that he's signed, do we trade Welker?

I wish it were so simple but unfortunately it's not. No one is bashing welker and he is by the far the best slot reciever that has played the game. Problem here.. how many NFL teams are a good slot reciever away from being contenders? 0. He's already proven that a championship can't be won by a...

Now that he's signed, do we trade Welker?

The thing with trading Welker is that some people feel we will recieve a great draft pick in return or great talent which is not true. Welker cannot go onto any team and begin producing numbers like he does here, infact many NFL teams do not even have a serious need for slot reciever, a 31 year...

Now that he's signed, do we trade Welker?

It's going to be very intresting, but I don't think Welker gets traded this season atleast. I am not too optimistic that a deal will be done although. We have to wait and see how guys like Anthony Gonzales, Edleman etc. pan out before doing anything with Welker in my opinion. Personally I'd...

50 Post Count to post in Main Forum? ah well..

I wanted to badly post this disccusiion on the main forum, but it looks like I'll have to put off on it.... SO I'll post here and hope people read it.. With the acquistion of Dont'a Hightower, it has started many of arguments about our LB corps (a good problem to have as you'll see). Many...
