I was disappointed when they didn't take Marcus Martin. Maybe this is the reason why.
Anyways, you can't take every single guy who has got banged up off your board.
Eh, if they think Johnson is a problem for the team then he has to go. Sometimes the integrity of the team is more important than production at one position.
On the other hand, you don't want to throw your #4 overall to the wolves right away. It could be a bad situation if other teams are...
Unless someone can show me the patriots aren't providing Mayo everything he needs for strength and conditioning, the patriots automatically get an A for the LB's. His return is arguably as important as the Revis signing.
BB also made the right decision in just letting Spikes walk. It's time for...
I wish they would just sell the team, though I know they won't. It's borderline disrespectful to the fans for them to own the team without even trying to win.
The Krafts are lucky to have stumbled on Diego ***undez, who looks like he's gonna be a bona fide superstar. He could net them some...
Some people here seem to be forgetting that football is a 4 down game. If Vince can stop the run game enough to force a 3rd and 7 instead of 3rd and 3, then he will already be helping in the pass game without even being in critical passing situations.
Andre Johnson expressed interest in being traded last season. His contract is through 2016 and isn't totally ridiculous (unlike Larry Fitzgerald's).
There is some obvious downside to the move, but it's bold, and it might be workable if we want it.
I think that we can agree that the PI was a little week. That being said, I can already imagine if that was a patriots DB everyone would be saying 'if you don't want a PI then don't grab the inside of the WR's collar, slap his arm down, and drape your arms around him without ever looking at the...
We can talk all day about the rookie QB and the lack of pressure in the passing game, but the Patriots were almost certainly more concerned about containing Buffalo's run game. Saying that, these are some of the Bills rushing stats:
Total rushing yds- 136
Average - 4
Fred Jackson
Total yds-67...
Re: Winning with this current receiver core is not sustainable
To my knowledge no one saw something like this coming from Edelman. Considering that Amendola looks like the real deal, if one of the rookies can step up sometime this year then we will have 3 solid receivers. Brady should have a...
Re: Winning with this current receiver core is not sustainable
So do you want us hold 7 receivers on the 53 man roster or do you want us to cut one of the young guys after only 1 game?
I must have been out of the loop when it came to the character issues stuff. When I heard we cut him I thought it must have been because we added Kelly, Armstrong, and still had Love on the team. Apparently my own off-season game wasn't as strong as I thought it was
If we are talking about depth, then there is definitely cause for reservations. Looking backwards, releasing Deaderick was one of the big mistakes of the off season. We can only hope that Armstrong can get healthy and then shows up.
On the other hand, I think there is a lot to be excited...
They need to get Thompkins out of this game. He's been looking way to good to be out there in garbage time.
I'm pretty excited that I can say that about him though.
Sure, what I said was somewhat of a simplification.
If Spikes has similar production this year he probably isn't going to break the bank contractually wherever he goes. If we want him we can probably get him without really hurting our cap space too much. My point is that we possibly can let a...
We might want to keep in mind that this could (hopefully) be the first year Spikes plays with a competent secondary behind him. He could benefit from that, or it could be another reason for QB's to exploit his limitations.
The second year leaps of Jones and Hightower are as big an X factor as...
