    Comparing NE, GB, and NO

If the Giants beat the Cowboys, then GB will have played all the NFC playoff teams apart from San Fran. And beaten them. Three of them in away games.

OT: Dumbest play in football history

Anyone can make a brainless mistake once. If you do it twice, then you have a serious problem. That mistake, I would say, is on a par with running for a touchdown but putting the ball down on the 1 yard line instead of running it in. This kid only did it once. DeSean Jackson, on the...

In a potential Super Bowl matchup, tougher team to beat: Saints or Packers?

FWIW, Rodgers' worst game this season was at Chicago. 28/38 (73.7%), 297 yards, 3 TD, 1 INT. Passer rating "only" 110.4.

Is there really more parity in the NFL....

In football, both teams play their best team every game. In baseball, they don't. If the Packers had to play 160 games with 5 different quarterbacks in the rotation, they wouldn't be sitting at 90-0 right now.

If you are missing Aaron Rodgers' season, you are missing history

I think you're judging him a little harshly on the Minnesota game. 24-30 for 335 yards, 3 TDs, 0 INTs, QBR 146.5? Maybe it wasn't his best game - but for an average, it's a pretty good performance.

    Brady and Montana Factually

I'm a Packer fan and therefore biased, but Bart Starr's name definitely belongs in this discussion. Best ever post-season winning percentage (9-1), best ever post-season QBR (104.8, in the sixties, where a QBR of 100 in a single game was unusual). [Rodgers 112.6, but it's too early to bring...

    Semi-OT: Worst drive ever?

A trick quiz question - Brett Favre's first completed pass as a Green Bay Packer was to a future Hall of Famer who has never caught another pass since. Who made the catch. (The answer, I'm sure you've guessed, was Brett Favre.) I remember seeing somebody punting on 4th and goal from their...
