Allowing for the assumption that we will in all likelihood trade out of 14, who are the highly touted 1st round graded players that could be available at 14 but you don't want to see us pick?
For me it is:
QB's Will Levis & Anthony Richardson. Too much bust potential, I just don't think either...

I think it's a pretty solid list. I might swap a few of the DB's around but otherwise I don't disagree with much, if any, of it.
What's everyone's opinion on the importance of tape vs measurables?
Personally, I put a lot more stock in the tape than the measurables, but of course there are exceptions, such as Tank Dell this year.
If I was to pull a ratio out of my ass, with no actual mathematical logic to it whatsoever...
If you're like me, one of the most fun parts of the draft is when you stumble upon a small school prospect when watching a different player/team, get excited by the potential and then see him get picked up, whether as a late round pick or UDFA.
Unfortunately this year, due to life, I have next...
Looks like a more traditional draft class next year, with a couple of QB's likely to be off the board early and some genuine blue chippers at other positions like Will Anderson, Jackson Smith Njigba, Michael Mayer and Myles Murphy.
We'll almost certainly be targeting a free safety, Brandon...
Who are those potential rough diamonds who are under the radar and should be hanging around in rounds 6&7 and undrafted? We usually get decent contribution from these unheralded gems, so who've ya got
I like:
QB Cole Kelly
RB Max Borghi
WR Charleston Rambo & Ty Fryfogle
TE Chig Okonkwo
OL -...
During the interview Eisen asks him how the zoom calls have been with the 49ers, Lance answered that they've been going well, that he's only done maybe one zoom call with them over the past few weeks, but has had a few phone calls. Throughout the whole interview he's super polished, calm...
How many picks do we have next year, I believe it's only 5? We definitely won't be getting any comp picks, so I expect us to collect some picks for next year during this year's draft. I also do not see us trading up for a QB unless one of them falls to where we don't have to give up too much.
Just a quick disclaimer, although I thoroughly enjoy watching tape and forming opinions on players, I am far from an expert. So take it for what it's worth. I've ranked the players in order of who I would most like the Patriots to get, even though a number of them will be unattainable for us...
And why?
For me it's Kyle Trask. I think he's a slow processor with a weak arm, struggles to improvise and can be erratic with regards accuracy and decision making. I would not go near him before the 6th round.
I'd also be very wary of picking Jaelen Phillips, despite him being very talented...
