Hell, you can extend that list all the way to the beginning of BB's tenure in New England and you'd still only add Branch and maybe Givens as successful WRs drafted. He's hit on like double the amount of QBs than WRs over the last 2 decades.
They do bring that up in the article:
"On the website profootballreference.com, there’s a stat called Career Approximate Value. It assigns a single number to the general value of a player’s career. Since 1999, among players drafted by the Browns among the top 50 picks, only four have a CAV of 5...
You're right about the ST designation, my bad.
But he was an RFA (2nd round after being an UDFA) coming off his first year as a starer. I don't think other teams were all that interested in giving up a 2nd rounder for him after last year due to various reasons. So he didn't have much of a choice...
Next year is Ramsey's 5th year option year, is it not? That only 13M according to overthecap.
Also, no way does Littleton get just 5 million per year. He just made the pro-bowl last year, and probably is on pace to do it this year again. To add to that he is pretty much putting up the same...
Felt a little like a robbery winning this game. If they hadn't been so careless with the ball they would have won.
Offense was atrocious.
Anyway, good to win in the division!
Good win! It's hard to gauge but the Steelers are usually a good team and in that way the win was very encouraging. Still, it's only week 1.
The offense still has some kinks to work out. I think they were a little bit inconsistent. And at time I thought the Steelers got penetration on our OL a...
I kinda doubt it. He seems like a pretty self-aware person. And his problems seem to be exasperated by football and the whole culture around football. So I think he just might try to stay away to keep focusing on himself and keeping himself in check.
As a European fan, a Saturday Super Bowl would be so much better. An earlier starting time would also be nice (the game starts 12:30 am as it is now), but I get that it's scheduled for US prime time TV.
What a year. I really didn't think we would get anywhere near the SB with some of the performances during the regular season. Besides like week 4-9 or so which was vintage Pats, I thought the team looked kind of old and slow.
But what a post-season performance by this team. It all came together...
Ignoring the obvious discipline issue today, I feel like all our creativity on the offense is just gone the last 4 or 5 games.
Receivers can't get open unless there is a defensive mistake it seems. And it doesn't look like were are helping them with schemed plays either. And the run game isn't...
