The blue pajamas represent a dark period in Patriots history. So far the post-Brady era mostly stinks. My understanding is that we have to keep these uniforms for another year per league rules, but I think we can all agree they are ugly and cursed.
I'm curious what people's thoughts are on how this off-season would be different if BB was still the GM.
I think BB would:
Move on from Mac
He might make overtures for Jimmy G
If Jimmy G doesn't take a hometown discount deal, Brisset is plan B.
As far as the draft, I think BB would be...
I'm curious to see how things play out at the guard position.
We have three viable starters in Onwenu, Strange and Sow.
If we go to more of a stretch run offense, I assume that's more favorable for Strange and less so for Onwenu.
Not sure what Sow's versatility is like, but he...
The reality that this is most likely the last game BB coaches in New England is pretty heavy as far as I'm concerned. This is not a thread about whether he should stay or go (I think it's time to move on), but a thread for us all to raise a glass in acknowledgement of what an amazing era of...
Hopefully the Patriots have officially hit rock bottom. Thank you BB for your years of service, but it is time to blow things up and enter a new era. The current uniforms represent a depressing period of steady decline in Patriots history. Lets start fresh on this front too and lose the...
I’m curious as to what’s going on in BB’s head this season.
In retrospect, despite the Patricia/Judge experiment, we were a better team last season.
I think BB was looking forward to the post-Brady rebuild and cementing his legacy and most fans were willing to give a few seasons to see it...
As I see the roster projections from some of the better folks in the media, I think it's unlikely that Boutte will make the roster. No way BB is going to carry 6 WRs plus Slater on the roster. As a 2nd round pick, Thorton is a lock and his speed is still valuable to clear underneath routes (or...
Personally, I‘d feel more comfortable if we resigned Jakobi and not picked up JuJu in FA.
Give me the proven commodity who was our most productive receiver and had chemistry with Mac and was always on the field vs a guy with injury issues and admitted (I appreciate the honesty) how hard it is...
Yes Miami has been terrible for years, but they have an incredible opportunity significantly upgrade their talent in this year's draft with the following picks:
Rd1 5
Rd1 18
Rd1 26
Rd2 39
Rd2 56
Rd3 70
Rd4 141
Rd5 153
Rd5 154
Rd5 173
Rd6 185
Rd7 227
Rd7 246
Rd7 246
Rd7 251
Rd7...
By all accounts Thuney is regarded as our best offensive lineman.
Shaq Mason is a very good player but not as good as Thuney and he had a down year last year - likely due to injury, the absence of David Andrews and the fact that Cannon played through illness/injury much of the year.
Mason...
The AB soap opera will dominate the football discussion for the foreseeable future. To me the more important issue is our lack of depth on the offensive line. I have faith that Karras can do a serviceable job, but an injury to any one of our starters could spell major trouble. If Brady...
How are your draft binkies doing so far?

2019 NFL preseason: Each team's most promising rookie(s)
Chase Winovich has been an unblockable dervish through two preseason outings, dominating overmatched backup tackles....This was one of the best preseason...
