My question?
Why does Brady go down so easily? The guy is average when he has to vacate the pocket.
That may be the only aspect that Sanchez has on Brady.
LOL
I don't think that motivation had anything to do with the Jets win. Ryan had a good gameplan, and was able to expose the Pats weaknesses.
The Jets have just as much talent than the Pats. Ryan was simply able to level the playing field by using a good scheme.
You guys are overreacting big time.
Despite what the media wants you to believe QB's are not pitchers. They do not get a W or an L to their name at the end of the day.
The Patriots went 14-2 this season BECAUSE of Tom Brady.
If the Pats had a power running game, and a defense that...
You guys laughed at me when I compared the 2010 Pats to the Colts. Is anyone laughing now?
This reminded me like a Pats vs Colts game in the early 00s where B and B always got the best of Manning.
The Patriots teams that won were dominate in the trenches. They did not rely on an high...
Ron,
You're pushing it a bit don't yout think?
BJE and DW are effective in your offense, BECAUSE you have a dominant passing game.
What happens when you guys have to play a team like the Ravens next week, who have pass rushers that can get to Tom Brady without blitzing? Brady wants no...
It's undeniable that the Patriots are built for the present and the future. However it's also undeniable that Tom Brady's passing game is the oil in the engine of the Patriots.
Do you really think the BJE and Danny Woodhead would be as effective in the Jets offense? The reason why they have...
I agree with some points of this passage, but not in its entirety.
Once again I cannot speak for other Jets fans, but I am not nearly as confident as Rex. After years of torture, I have been conditioned to expect the worse and hope for the best.
Truthfully I expect the Jets to get destroyed...
I can't speak for anyone other than myself, but FOR ME it's a combination of jealousy, and the arrogance of Pats fans.
The Patriots dominance has simply gone on for far too long, and Pats fans have been anything but classy along the way. You guys are severely lacking in perspective.
Hit the nail on the head...
Especially with the pass attempts.
It will have to be like that Giants vs Bills superbowl. BB knows about that as he was defensive coordinator for the Giants.
Basically, the Giants slowed down the K-Gun offense by controlling the clock. Bills only had the...
I don't know about that. The Jets ran the ball well during the first meeting too.
If I recall correctly, we had a strange game plan. I believe Schotty opened that game with Sanchez in the no huddle.
In the first half they were having some pass protection problems. Rex said so himself.
I'm not a delusional Jets fan. I do think Sanchez is a bad QB right now, but I do think the guy has some promise.
He has arm strength, pocket presence, mobility, and quick release. His problem is...
What is wrong with Rex and the Jets?
Is there some sort of unwritten law stating that you have to act like Bear Bryant and Bill Parcells?
Rex is his own man..... He's not worried about imitating anyone, and I do respect him for that.
This Jets team is fun to root for!!!!
Over confidence much?
I actually think the Jets have a shot in this game.
This isn't a fraud team like in '06. These guys have a dominating oline, and you guys are missing two starting dlineman (Wright and Ty Warren I believe).
Looking at the box score hidden behind that 45-3 debacle...
