Re: Mike Reiss on Belichick: Maybe it's time to 'revisit' his personnel decision maki
He put all his eggs in one basket. That Tom Brady would be able to be Peyton Manning and carry the team this season and for a few more years. If Brady can't get us 24 points minimum we lose the game. It's that...
We struggled against a Jets team that were playing horrible when we played them and were a Cowboys first down from losing, a Cowboys team that is getting hammered by a team coming off the bye, just like we were.
No excuses. This team needs to start playing like they give a damn, or we won't...
If this defense doesn't get a serious kick in the ass our dominance is over. Brady is going to rot away because as Bart Scott said "they can't stop a nose bleed."
Are you out of your mind? Mike Williams was out of the NFL for two seasons. 751 yards and 2 TDs is more productive than what Wilhite is doing in Denver on spot duty?:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:
Stop posting, they get stupider and stupider.
EDIT: BTW, I'm still waiting. Give me a...
Better yet, the Lions have hit one out of eight from 2000-2010.
Scotty Anderson(who?) Charles Rodgers(who?) David Kircus(5th receiver his entire career) Roy Williams(lol, one good year, horrible in Chicago now.) Mike Williams(somewhat of a revitiization after being out of the league for two...
Detroit Lions 2001-2007, 2007 being the only one when they hit on Calvin Johnson, who was can't miss at #2 overall.
Your turn. Believe me, I'm waiting.
I think he's going DE and DT. Just a gut feeling, then grabbing a corner/safety with one of the second rounders. I honestly think BB is going to go after a solid corner in free agency.
Wrong. Completely false. All the defenseless receiver nonsense was not around in 2004, guys can come over the middle now whenever they please without the fear and getting annihilated by a safety, and if they do more often than not it's a penalty. Corners in 2011 do not have that intimidation...
I mean, it's a testament for how tough he is and how well conditioned he is for a guy his size. But end of the day you gotta be smart with him. I'm sure once we get Brace back and what not his reps will decline a bit. Hopefully.
Plus Matt Cassel isn't a bad quarterback, he's not Curtis Painter. A lot of people fail to give him credit, the guy is an NFL caliber play caller. He threw 27 TDs and 7 INTs last season.
You know how some fans say a certain position on the roster is thin, but in all reality there is some depth there.
Our corner situation is really thin.
If Meriweather was this all-pro player like you make him out to be he would still be here. Or playing at least a snap for a Bears team that has had the more safety combinations in the league the last few seasons than anyone else.
Thanks for playing :blahblah:
