.. the 2003-04 Carolina Panthers
Here's a team with a good pass rush, a solid running game, a star WR, and an inconsistent QB who became hot at just the right time.
Both teams had a QB that turned the ball over frequently in the regular season and then stopped doing so in the post season...
Anyone have an opinion on Tony Parrish for depth in the secondary ? He was released today.
Then again, maybe we shouldn't sign any Safeties... it seems to cause them to get injured & end up on IR.
Sorry folks, but I gotta give some props to the one guy on the Vikings who never gave up. Minnesota should get him involved more often... he's like their version of Kevin Faulk. (Though Moore seems much faster.)
I saw him play last year on TV too... for all of the RB combos in the leagues...

Ok, it's the offseason... but these are NOT the poll results... they're ESPN's (Mike Golic, Mark Schlereth, Sean Salisbury and Trey Wingo). Wow.
Patriots :
-----------
QBs -- #1
RBs -- #14
Pass Catchers -- #11...
Okay, pardon my lack of NFL knowledge here... but what exactly does the Denver stadium chant out after a 3 & out or on any good defensive play (it seems) ?
It's definetly 3 letters or 3 syllables... heck... even the videogames do it, but I can never seem to figure it out.
X - Y - Z ...
Pete Carroll didn't even get outcoached... he just managed to coach even worse than Mack Brown.
I cannot believe that USC went for it on 4th & essentially 2 in the 1st half when they were up 7-0 rather than kick a 30 yard FG. TAKE THE POINTS. Instead, stuffed.... momentum swings to Texas...
