First, that was absolutely incredible. Thank you for sharing it.
Second, somehow the guy pulled in a clip from a Portland, Oregon afternoon sports talk show. At 17:22 when they're talking about the coin flip, that's Ropp and Suke from 1080 the Fan in Portland. I don't know how he pulled that...
I had to see this for myself...yup.

That was probably Dan Fouts. There I noted a specific instance when Fouts called for unnecessary roughness penalties against the Pats (Ninkovich) for a hit on Alex Smith for "driving him all the way to the ground" and Mike Pereira corrected him on Twitter. He called for it again on a latter...
I'm surprised I didn't see a thread on this already, so if I missed it please feel free to merge.
What are your overall thoughts on Amendola's hit on Jamell Fleming on the punt return? It looked brutal when I saw it live at a restaurant, but on replay it seems pretty clear that he led with his...
Logically....you are absolutely right. But in sports fandom...logic and reason doesn't always prevail. It's very emotion driven.
I agreed with what fnordcircle posted, in that I probably won't know who I'd prefer to see lose until the game starts.
I loved Vereen and still will root for him to do well in Jersey. But to classify him as a star is a big stretch. Important? Absolutely. Clutch? For sure. But a star? Ehhhh....
That being said, I also don't think that any non-star is by default a JAG. Vereen is not a JAG, but he is certainly...
I wish I could have liked and agreed with this post.
Let's wait and see if Spikes was involved beyond it just being his car. How many cars are registered to him?
Eh...it's not so much the drops that rubbed me the wrong way about Welker. Of course I didn't like them, but drops happen and he's made plenty of great plays in his time in NE. But while he was a Patriot, it always seemed like he always carried himself like he was above the rules. Even Spikes...
If this is in the wrong spot or a duplicate I apologize, feel free to move it.
Tell me how crazy this makes me sound...
The Wells Report was officially released on May 6. ESPN announced (awkwardly) that Bill Simmons' contract would not be renewed May 8, Friday. The league announced the Pats...
I can't find a decent clip of it online.....but I can see strong similarities to the end of Iron Man 2 when the Senator presents the award to Stark. Except with the Lombardi Trophy taking the place of the award.
While a guy like Gilbert would be great for the All-Pros like Revis, the majority of the NFLPA is made up of much more replaceable players on smaller contracts. A hard liner like Gilbert might have been too risky from their perspective.
I disagree with this to an extent. Only because Schefter was one of the very few witholding judgement when the Pats were accused. He wanted to wait for the report. If this was anyone else in the media, I would absolutely agree with you.
This will be my first time hosting a Super Bowl party. We've got chicken wings made in a smoker, sandwich wraps, pita bread with hummus, chips and dip, a veggie platter, bean dip, a few kinds of cookies, and I'm debating on getting a pizza or another main dish type option.
It's because of how long his name is. "Ben, Jarvus, Green, & Ellis" sounds like the name of a law firm you would find in the yellowpages more than the name of an nfl starting RB.
I have a tradition of buying one jersey every year. I alternate offense and defense.
I have blue Dillon, Maroney, Welker, and Edelman jerseys.
I have red Brady and Mayo jerseys.
I have a silver Ty Law jersey.
I have white Seymour and Wilfork jerseys.
I'm looking to get a white...
