Right now after the Jets punt with 8 minutes left
Jets 29 runs 23 passes
Colts 15 runs 36 passes
The teams that came out passing is winning.
For the final 8 minutes the Colts will run more and the Jets will pass more, this is why pass/run ratio not always accurate.
Moss reminds me alot of another star athlete Jaromir Jagr, who also was attacked alot for not skating hard due to the fact that his big size made him look like he was not giving a 100%, when infact he was.
Also both could take over a game by themselves and look like men playing against boys...
It the Pats did sign Merriman and were playing the Jets it would be kind of cool to have Jim Ross be the announcer if Tia Tequlia showed up in stands. I could only image Jim Ross screaming "Oh my god it's Tia Tequlia in the stands, who side is she on.!!!!!!!!"
The Pats should go back to there 2004 offense built around RB like Dillon and Brady throwing a higher % of downfield shots instead of the run n shoot dink and dunk offense they have become.
It's good that the Pats dont' sign Merriman, cause that would add another off field issue with the Pats-Jets rivalry due to the whole Tia Tequila angle.
The Pats could go 9-7 and win the AFC East next year or go 11-5 and have repeat of 2008. Alot of how the Pats do next year willd depend on what the Jets and Dolphins do. The AFC East is gonna be a battle for the next few years alot due to the fact that the Jets/Dolphins have closed the gap on...
I wonder why the Pats didn't sign a guy like David Patten after they cut Galloway. Patten in 07 had over 50 Rec for 800 yards and ended up as the Saints 2nd WR. In 08 he only played 5 games but that was due more to the fact that the Saints wanted to play there younger WR's like Meachem and Moore...
From 2003 to 2007 the Pats had little to worry about from rest of the AFC East. But the last 2 years the Jets and Dolphins have closed the gap on the Pats. And both have young QB's in Sanchez and Henne who have chance to give both teams a stable young QB to compete with the Pats.
So the key...
The Pats were 5th in the most important stat in the NFL for a defense, which is points allowed. Yet very few here would say that the Pats defense was top 5 in talent.
Pats rankings in points allowed since 2006.
06 2nd
07 4th

How the hell does Chan Gailey get a job over someone like Mike Martz. Sure Martz has his faults, but one thing about his teams they were never boring and last time I checked the Bills want to 4 Super Bowls with wide open offence that attacked defences alot like Martz not whatever the hell Chan...
In 2015 if Brady was to be hurt and some young 24 year old QB came in and played really well, then it could happen if Brady still wants to play. That would be the way if Brady would be traded, but not in the next few years.
