I chose the Jets. The Colts have the potential to outscore us... I really don't think the Jets do at this point. The team winning a superbowl is far more important to me than any personal bias I have against our opponents and playing the Jets gives us the best chance of advancing, IMO.
Jets...
What made Brady great before Moss and Welker showed up was his ability to spread the ball around to multiple receivers all game long. In the Givens/Branch days the opposing defense never really could tell where the ball was going. I used to think that's the way Brady liked to do things...
Strong e-thuggery as usual. Keep using patsfan.com as a catalyst to talk sh't to people. Hopefully there will come a point soon where you no longer feel it necessary to do so.
Re: From JetsInsider.com: Ya Know Something? After All Their Talk, I Have NO Sympat
On a random note I was at that game. You should've heard the Bills fans, everybody crowing superbowl on the way out of the stadium. That's actually the loudest game I've ever been at. I'll never forget...
After this post I'll stop hi-jacking the thread but I do agree that Foxboro was the louder stadium dimensionally. I just know that when I attend games I'm yelling my fool head off on every defensive snap (if the game's at least somewhat competitive) and I look around at people sitting down and...
If you truly want to believe that the dimensions of the stadium is the reason why it is one of the most quiet in the NFL, I won't say anything to impede you. With a theory like that one, I doubt I could change your mind if I tried.
I've been to many games at both stadiums, btw. FWIW.
Right... the first few pages of this thread are a prime example of why the sometimes ridiculous and almost always negative Boston media thrives in this market. They wouldn't put out that kind of a product if there weren't a demographic eating it up.
As an aside, the stadium was a library...
As others have said, though, I think if his high contract demands are true that it's a win-win situation for others in the division. Either the Jets handcuff themselves financially, or they lose arguably the best CB in football. Either one will do.
Re: OT: Revis wants 20M per year....
Right well nobody is writing him off as a flash in the pan. I just took exception to the fact that he was being compared by some to sure-fire HOF'ers after 1 elite season. Point taken that he has had a phenomenal start to his career but you need...
Re: OT: Revis wants 20M per year....
Sorry, this was the quote that got me going on the subject.
"Revis is better than Bailey ever was, and is by far the best CB out there... "
Didn't come from you so shouldn't have been directed at you. My bad.
Re: OT: Revis wants 20M per year....
I'll try not to hi-jack the thread too much on this topic, but keep in mind that Pap's ERA in his own coming out party was 0.92 and since HAS "fallen off" due to the fact that that is an insane # to uphold and there were people who actually felt he would...
Re: OT: Revis wants 20M per year....
Was Revis's season year before last really "great"? I've never heard it referred to as such. To even lump it in together with last season is a little silly in my opinion. Whether you want to admit it or not, last season was his "coming out party" and...
