Sanchez named AFC Player of the Week

Sanchez has been having a very good season overall and been clutch late in games. Don't confuse that with perfect. He has a lot to do with the Jets 8-2 record. The defense was what gave up a 23-7 lead last week, Sanchez bailed them out

Is it possible to hate a team more than the Jets?

LOL. I promise you Jet fans hate the Pats more. Why wouldn't they? You say you hate the Jets now try to imagine the Jets winning 3 super bowls the last 10 years and owning the division. You sir have no clue what hate is

OT: LT to visit the Jesters on Friday

I think LT playing behind the Jets OL is going to increase his ypg. Not at all ready to call him done. Also think TJones production last year was misleading as he looked significantly slower to me than he did in 08. The jets OL is dominant and i think Tomlinson has a productive season. Rex...

OT: Braylon Edwards to the Jets for 2 players, third (cond. second), fifth

Re: OT: Braylon Edwards to the Jets for 2 players, third, fifth Ferguson has developed into an outstanding LT. You need to pay better attention

    2009 Denver Broncos = 2001 Patriots ??

As long as Mcdaniels keeps thinking that Royal and Marshall are interchangeable with Stokely and Gaffney then I dont think that offense will ever reach its full potential. Orton doesnt inspire much confidence either. They havent been impressive in their wins, and were just plain lucky to have...

OT: Mark Sanchez looks to break an NFL record tomorrow

Sanchez going for his third consecutive rookie of the week honors too

Very Interesting Matchups in the AFC East This Week

Atlanta over the Patriots- The Falcons are one of the most balanced teams in the league on offense, and good TEs have been tough on NE even when they had a more expierienced defense. I think Ryan can exploit the Patriots secondary and LBs in coverage. Brady will need Welker/Moss to suit up for...

OT: Jets' Sanchez tears it up against Jints

Re: Jets Sanchez tears it up against Jints I dont think a Jet fan on the planet feels bad about any of the players Tannambaum moved up to get the last few years. Gholston looks like a bust to me, but overall I think the Jets have drafted very well. The Jets didnt move up for D'Brick, they were...

If I'm the Jets, I'm nervous

The Jets had the shackles on Sanchez in the first half. Everybody saw what hes capable of when the Jets let him throw. The Jets had a conservative game plan on offense, but the numbers on offense could have easily been better if Sanchez had needed to throw more often. The Jets best blitzer was...

If I'm the Jets, I'm nervous

I think most Jets fans were bracing themselves for an 0-4 or 1-3 start to the season so i dont think any of the fans are fealing too nervous. Will Sanchez struggle at some point going forward? Of course, but I also think he gets more confidant and efficient in the offense. The Jets defense is...

    Thoughts on the Jets?

Ive gotta say after lurking around patriots planet for a few years especially during Jets/Pats weeks(im a jets fan), that Im very impressed with some of the Pats fans knowledge of football on this board. The difference between the two fan sites is like night and day

    Thoughts on the Jets?

Great post here. I think the Jets offense can exploit some of the vulnerabilities of the Pats defense, but I also think the Jets defense is going to have trouble stopping Brady and co.

BB: Jets defense "looks like they xeroxed the Ravens playbook."

I dont really take the quotation as any big deal as a Jets fan. BB will have his fingerprints all over the defensive game plan to stop Sanchez and the Jets running game, but how much of his ideas go into the offensive side of the game plan? I always thought that was more in the hands of the OC...

BB: Jets defense "looks like they xeroxed the Ravens playbook."

Then, things really got wacky. On 3rd and 12, 6-4, 360-pound Kris Jenkins lined up on the left side before getting out of his stance and assuming a linebacker spot three yards off the line of scrimmage. Inside linebackers David Harris and Bart Scott crept up to the line and blitzed through the...

    Thoughts on the Jets?

I think a lot of Pats fans in this thread are putting the Texans in the same class as the Lions. Is Houston as good as NE? No definitely not, but they arent complete jokes either, and they were completely dominated by the Jets on both sides of the ball. I think this will be another close...

    Thoughts on the Jets?

Last year, teams that spread the Jets out with 3 and 4 WR sets had the best luck. I see the Pats trying to do that to the Jets in sundays game. As a Jets fan I love what i saw out of their defense on sunday but the Pats are not the Texans and BB will recognize the Jets weaknesses. These...
