    J Cotchery A Steeler

I think Cotchery just overvalued himself. He thought he could be a #2 type receiver, and with the Jets bringing in Holmes and Burress, figured that he wouldn't get that opportunity and asked out. The Jets must have had an inside feeling that Mason would join them to be their #3 guy, so obliged...

Jet Fan Twitter source: Pats to shop Welker

Wouldn't surprise me. Welker is a nice player, but not a great one. He benefits from a perfect system. When Welker went down last year, Edelman stepped in and did the same thing. He won't be nearly the same player for another team as he is as a Patriot. Might as well steal a 2nd round pick...

Darrelle Revis calls Randy Moss a slouch

Moss was dynamite last game. 48 yards against Baltimore, when the Patriots were playing from behind, ie passing more... The real difference maker in a Patriots victory. Oh wait... Welker was injured, and the Patriots got humiliated, and Moss did nothing. Moss's best days are behind him...

Darrelle Revis calls Randy Moss a slouch

I think the most funny part of this thread is all of you guys defending the guy, because a non-Patriot fan/media member insulted a Patriot player, despite the fact that just about every single one of you guys have called Randy Moss out for taking plays off, or doing a lazy job blocking, many...

Gasper: Mayo out 6-8wks, possibly less - sprained MCL- grade 3

Re: Mayo out 6-8wks - sprained MCL- grade 3 Bad doesn't even describe that Denver team. They looked so pathetic. Cutler isn't great, but Orton? Seriously?

Gasper: Mayo out 6-8wks, possibly less - sprained MCL- grade 3

Re: Mayo out 6-8wks - sprained MCL- grade 3 While it is true an NFL athlete may be in better condition to return from a grade III MCL strain, it's also true that the things that the NFL athlete is doing when he returns from the injury puts a bit more strain on the injury than the average...

Rapoport: Mayo in good spirits, tells teammate injury is "nothing serious"

Knee injuries are impossible to speculate on. Torn ACLs can look like nothing and the player can still walk and sometimes even finish the games. Then minor injuries can look completely awful, but end up being nothing. The reality is, we won't know the truth until the injury report comes out...

Rapoport: Mayo in good spirits, tells teammate injury is "nothing serious"

That was hilarious. He kept making the mistake over and over. It's not like Matt Light is some no name guy either. He's a pro-bowler on a team that gets 30 minutes of discussion out of a 90 minute Sportscenter.

Rapoport: Mayo in good spirits, tells teammate injury is "nothing serious"

When Mayo plays a game I'll believe he's healthy. I don't trust a single word that comes out of Belichick's locker room on an injury. He didn't play a single down after an apparent knee injury. The Patriots are playing the Jets next week. He'll report a torn ACL as a minor sprain until he...

    Thoughts on the Jets?

Actually they beat a team that they weren't supposed to beat. Houston was favored. So yeah, they aren't the Patriots, but they aren't a BAD team by any stretch of the imagination.
