I think you are missing the point. Many people have said that Patriots bad karma led to the Patriots losing the Super Bowl in the final minute. In addition, many people have suggested that Brady's injury was also due to bad Patriots/Belichick karma.

A little bit, yes. He hit Kraft and Belichick hard in the pocket book, but gave no suspensions and let them keep their highest 1st round pick. Tough but fair. Patriots fans are the only ones that ever seem to talk about Spy Gate. It's such old news.

From everything I've read, it seems as if the commissioner was very fair with Belichick (maybe even too lenient), do you think otherwise?

What does Roger Goodell have to do with anything? He wasn't on the field when the Giants drove down the field at the end of the Super Bowl last year, and he wasn't on the field when the Patriots wet themselves in the second half of the conference championship the year before.

Belichick hasn't won any Super Bowls since Mangini left. Maybe Belichick should give him a job. LOL. Seriously though, Mangini is only 37 years old. I still think he could become a really good coach someday. He'll probably learn from this and be better for it.
