I always think that draft and FA should be approached like how investment funds approach money allocation for different investments. Part of that is knowing there are value dislocation in the market and playing accordingly.
To me draft should be about picking the positions that are either hard...
Will be interesting if they accept. They should as they need to get experience away from their father.

It was reported in the past Bill's salary was $25MM a year. It was also reported he had a year left.
If I were Bill, I would have asked Kraft to pay me to play nice. Bill would get paid the last year when fired anyway. But would Bill make him pay double to play nice?
I would have!
Edited out...
I never liked it but it is what it is. However, given Brady is done and therefore not much is discussed about him, I think that forum should be deleted and any new threads about him should be in the main forum where they belong.
I saw an Antonio Brown thread this week in the main forum and yet...
I don't get it given that a Broncos match-up is a lot less appealing than the Chiefs one.
Some sort of rule that allowed Fox/CBS to protect the better games? Or the NFL not as scared of us getting blown out like they were against the Chiefs?
I really wanted a 1pm game. I am still getting used...
I get we would never fire Bill in season and I am all for that. However, why is O'Brien still with this team? Can't fathom a worse offense in the league than ours.
Don't care about this offense looks more modern or whatever other crap excuse I have heard. The facts are we are a guarbage offense...
When he got hired, the board acted like he was the Messiah come to save us. It was weird actually.
Our offense is objectively worse. Why is he not getting any criticism? The guy has always been average which was why I did not want him.
Then I see this garbage take. He must be a source to Phil...
I am not a local and so never watched or listened to Boston sports. I have always gotten my Pats talk fix from national shows. For nearly 20 years Pats have always been a mainstay on sports shows and now they have completely disappeared.
It's shocking given that Cowboys and Steelers always get...
I don't think this gets mentioned enough if at all. Our record since Brady *left* is .470 (26-29). However, 7 of those wins are against the Jets.
Excluding Jets, we are a .400 team. If the Jets were even average and took 3 out of 7 games, we would be .420.
We would have been 0-4 if Rodgers did...
I am not saying this was the called play but if you look at Patricia after Stevenson passes to Meyers, he was clapping. He did not even seem surprised he passed to Mac until he saw Jones there and pass going to him and then he raised his arms.
Am I just reading too much into it? Also Mac said...
I don't post here a lot and I almost never read long posts so I avoid making them. But I thought I would give this a chance.
I started watching football around 2001 by watching the SB only and so my first 3 games were 2001-2003 SBs.
Sometime in 2004 I decided I liked football and started...
One of my favorite Pats players and one I was not happy to see go.
Very underrated. He was awesome here! Shiftiest back I had ever watched.

We need to rebuild through draft next couple years as we lack talent almost everywhere with a lot of aging vets. We will also have much better draft capital than previous years if we keep losing at this rate.
Howver, given our draft record over the last few years, I have zero confidence in this...
I have been hearing a lot of "Pats have not done this in 20 years", "These don't look like the Pats", "I am shocked the Pats are losing when they have not in 20 years", "They are used to retooling and winning on the go", "what happened to the Pats?" takes from media and fans on this board. They...
It is not being talked much about but that was the play of the game for me.
Chung going down caused a bit of lack of communication which resulted in that broken play.
Cooks was open by a mile for an easy touchdown. Jason ran like a bullet from the other side of the field to disrupt that sure...
I want to know what others think of him? To me, he seems like he has by far the best instincts of any of our LBs and makes some big plays, especially behind the line of scrimmage. He's one of our best D players and he's a free agent. My Xs & Os knowledge is not good so I can't tell exactly if...
