Re: You're Typical Bills Fan
ok, here you go:
randy moss had 7 drops, and had 69 receptions
terrell owens had 9 drops, and had 69 receptions.
not all that far apart...

Getting the drop on Bills receivers - AFC East - ESPN
gotta say, i love the tate pick. maybe could have had him after another round or so, but he's an excellent receiver. im pretty sure tate was only overshadowed by nicks this past year. tate has a pro skill set, and could really be a solid #2 in 2010 and beyond.
im sorry, but a close call on one play does not justify any of us discounting the fact that the final score gave the giants the victory. did anyone go through the entire super bowl and count the should-have-been penalties against the patriots? it's just bitter grapes at this point.
as far as...
i personally think T.O. was a good pickup for them. the only problem is that it probably won't help them that much, as they need a lot more than T.O. to push them over the 0.500 hump. still have plenty of holes to fill.
is rotton sort of like cotton? or did you mean rotten? and "franchiase" sounds sort of like a mustard...the complement to honey dijon or something.
haha just busting your chops man, if you did predict 6-10 for the bills, nice job. for next year, i'm going to go out on a limb and predict 7-9! lol
"A Bills gal passed on last night
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm not an emotional guy just have to get this off my chest, last night my fiance lost her battle with cancer and I just wanted to say thank you to the Bills fans I know for...
the Bills stink...but so do the Chargers and other teams we've lost to. i'm only worried because it's a game we need to win. other than that, the bills have done so poorly against us every year (thanks jauron!), that i'm really not that worried. i'm more concerned about the jets-dolphins game.
unfortunately, it's not just their wr's we have to be aware of. they only got 30 yards rushing but still managed to get 289 yards passing against the jets, who have better cb's than we do. they've got playmakers at RB who can catch passes and get plenty of yac, and we have to watch out for their...
actually to get to 9-7, we'd need to go 2-4 down the stretch after being at 7-3.
but they have the jets, who are 5-3 right now, losing twice on the road and going 5-1 in their other games? lol this scenario is not likely at all, imo.
bills 24
patriots 30
the bills haven't scored any fewer than 16 points in any game this season. they haven't been dominant, but they're pretty consistent. and against the jets, they were able to move the ball well (8/13 on third downs) even without their #2 wr, reed, and without a running...
the nfl has dealt with players before they've been convicted - i'm pretty sure they penalized Pacman Jones before he was convicted of anything.
so how come it's taken so long to hear the appeal? i've seen these thing dealt with much faster before.
i think porter is partially right in this...
Re: Mayo one of the top 5 most overrated players in the league
i was going to make that point too, but if you read the blurb, joyner is talking about point-of-attack run metrics. so he's not counting passes. joyner's known for being a stats geek, and he quantifies everything possible, but...
i've paid some attention to this team. if we can get them to turn the ball over, like they have against the Dolphins and Jets, we should be fine. the crowd needs to be a factor, because they're not as great on the road, like most teams.
exactly...this guy was overrated even before he got to oakland. i'm not for this at all. and yes, he did get picked on because he was across from asomugha every sunday, but the fact is that he got beat a lot and didn't do much with it.
Re: Mayo one of the top 5 most overrated players in the league
i could be wrong, but i'm pretty sure that in a 3-4 defense, the job of the d-line is to hold the blockers. the job of the lb's is to hit the gaps and get the tackles, especially in the running game. that's why d-linemen in 3-4 D's...
gotta say, i'm hoping the jets win on sunday...although i'd be happy if either loses at this point. it's just that we would take the lead very firmly after we beat the colts and if the bills lose. buffalo's been good at home though. like you said - we'll see.
but in that case you can pretty much say that every qb looks like any other qb when they step up in the pocket. so the post really isn't worth much.
there just seems to be this attitude of "well, our backup qb can always come in and be a hall-of-famer." i just don't understand why people keep...
lol that's what i was thinking. i'm all for cassel, i think he's improved remarkably in this amount of time, especially considering how long it's been since he's started a football game.
that being said, he'll never compare to brady. brady is just that good.
lol...in his opinion? gotta say, man, every single post on there kills the guy who posted that. their is not one guy on there who agrees with the op...most of them think it's a joke and i wouldnt be surprised if it was a joke.
the bills are still agood team. you may be right - they could lose...
