I acutally think the Pats will come out executing and the Saints will be "trying" to execute. The Saints want to win so bad and want to be considered an elite team that they will try too much. As usual the Pats will execute early, develop a two touchdown lead and finish it off. The Pats are...
Again,
What in the world are we doing looking at the Colts games and complaining about the officiating? I went to the Texans boards and even their fans agree that there was 1 bad call but that the Colts are good and they win and their team is bad and they lose. Yet here we are combing Colts...
Wow,
We sure are spending alot of time on the Colts on this board. The Colts still have to make plays after they get a "bogus" call. I have watched a few of their games where the other team got the calls and couldn't make the plays....I also recall when the 07 Pats played the Ravens and got a...
Indy is definitely banged up.... however, in a "3 things that would surprise you about your team segment" for Indianapolis, I saw said that this year they are the 3rd youngest team in the league. The only old is Harrison.. maybe Manning? As far as the officiating, I watched the game and the...
Listen,
There has only been one game in the season. If the AFC gets healthy, it will be back to the same. Manning/Colts will get better, Pittsburgh is strong.....For crying out loud there has only been 1 game!!! :o
The only problem with all of this is that the Super Bowl effect could happen now. Some of the older players may have a difficult time staying motivated after all of last years work
You know....
The Colts actually mimic us in bad preseasons. However, look at how they have started the last 4 years. The year the Colts won the superbowl they had a terrible preseason just like the Pats. It just goes to show that if you are a great team the preseason does not matter.
Brady can do whatever he wants whenever he wants from this point on in his career. He is the ultimate competitor, playing for nothing (for what he does), and has stated that foootball isn't everything. What if he retired? He basically can tell ownership what he will do from now on.
I don't think the Colts are in decline. Their defense is young and they had one of their best defensive years last year. They had very little turnover. The only decline is possibly Harrison. So it is the Colts that could beat us.
Re: Classic BB Quote .. Today's Globe
Of course he does. He treats the press with a hidden disdain with his "quotes" Its his way of being sarcastic without anyone noticing. ;)
[CODE]]"There's one guy whose game I love. That's Peyton," he says. Of course! The sole equal. "Being in the system I've been in for eight years, with the same coach and the same offense, when we call a play, I've run it hundreds of times. Peyton and I share that.[/CODE
Interesting..... These...
Remember how the colts changed their offense when Pittsburgh blitzed them out of the playoffs? I wonder how the Pats offense will change this year especially with o-line problems and the fact that every team will be blitz happy
