Exactly Graham may have been exactly what they wanted but went top 15. JPP may have freakish skills but his litany of academic ineligibility makes you realize he probably makes a box of rocks look bright. Kindle well I know alot of people wnated I felt he was overrated....considering how far...
I wanted Worilds after round one was completed but Pitt pulled a fast one.
I however wold of felt completely sick in the stomach had we taken Dunlap or Kindle (even before his knee report).
Kindle was vastly overrated and didnt produce well at the college level compared to his hype...
Cunnigham should bring a good pass rush at the OLB. I think Pitt threw us a monkey wrench when they took Worilds, no one expected that when they had Harrison and Woodley already.
Oh and for those that care Cunningham had a 1.57 ten yard split thats absolutely ridiculous fast initial burst...
It will be Mayo inside and either of Spikes or McKenzie opposite him inside whoever displays a better grasp. On the outside it will be TBC and Woods.
This setup especially holds true for the fact that the Pats first four games are vs Cinci, Jets, Dolphins, Bills all very run oriented teams...
Actually loved McCourty from day one you need 3 great corners in this league. Do a break down of top 5 RB's vs top 5WR's in the Superbowls over the past decade......WR's have been dominating it of late and last top 5 RB to win a SB was Dillon with us.
Wanted Gresham at TE if he slide did...
Too light to be effective at DE in the 3-4 and too slow and no explosion to play OLB, least thats IMO. Would take him awhile to try and develop as a 34DE as well.
So much for those expecting Tate to defy medical odds and making a huge impact this year. Maybe next time people wont expect the Jerry Rice comeback each and every time. After screwing up his knee yet again hopefully he comes back again ok. This is what happens when you rush players back.
Yes but we also saw this team lose Harrisson, Vrabel, Bruschi, Samuel, and Hobbs in that time span. Oh and we did bring in Moss and Welker in that draft class, yes I count those traded for players as part of the draft class.
How is it pointless? Many people thought Thomas would be an instant cut before TC, now he gets us a draft pick back in return and let's the team trade for a blocking TE after his trade.
Which this team actually sorely needs with Watson not a great blocker and Baker brought in more for his...
Watson barely played in the preseason so he wasn't "showcased" to any teams whereas Thomas has and played well.
Plus if Watson has a somewhat decent year a team could take a flier on him as a FA and if it's a big enough contract the Pats get a comp pick the next year barring them signing any...
Re: Hochstein traded to Denver for a 7th round pick.
I am surprised and a little nervous about the move myself. I thought Hoch was a shoe in for first backup OL.
Personally i think it is BB taking a gamble. He may think some of the younger OL won't make the PS ala Ohrn. Or he is simple...
nope he is not eligible he has three seasons in the league. The language about games played and eligibility is only there for the first three years.
IE you cant sign a rookie week 4 from the PS to the regular roster cause of injuries, then the following year sign him to the PS after cuts...
Sorry you read the cap page wrong....Green is in the very last year of his contract.....no SB to be accelerated. Thats a 2 million savings not a hit to the cap, a hit is in red on the page and in ().
Green 2.9 million hit with 2 mill ni savings...Le Kevin 560 hit. With only 3.5 million in...
Well part of the problem is the agent wanting to make a big splash witha top ten client so he cna cement himself as a top agent and continual get top ten prospects and huge paydays.
Crabtree may also be a greedy SOB too. Lets not forget while alot of NFL players cna be prima donna's...WR's...
