a little surprising. Again he fits the physical profile: small and quick. Ellis Hobbsian again. solid pick. I had him ranked much lower...but he fits.

so you wear eyeliner, hug baby goats, skip through Rome holding a manbag licking gelato? If he wasn't as great as he is, he would be taking abuse like you have never seen around Boston.

i was half kidding. We all realize as Pats fans that he is the best QB of all time....but not one fan in here is not embarressed by Brady's antics in this offseason. its pretty shocking no doubt. perhaps you should get a sense of humor about life, your defense of Brady actually puts you...

I had 3 QB's on my board (all fit the Patriots physical prototype "big") O'connell i figured they would draft. just not this high. I guess Brady's gay antics (eyeliner, manbags and gelato) has them worried.

Scandrick (#55 on my board) Avril (#16) Kellen Davis (#64) Goff (#59) McGlynn (#62) Thomas Brown (#72) all would make sense right now.

Exactly. Avril size suggests that he would best fit inside for the Pats, and they filled that need with MAYO. Crable fills the roster spot vacated by Colvin at OLB. In two years with a lot of weight room work, he could be a starter for us at OLB, specifically on Vrabels side. Pats have...

Shawn Crable. Great pick. fits atheir physical profile for an OLB. Tall and athletic. Special teams value. A bigger and quicker version of Pierre Woods.

terrible trade They get SD #2 next year....but That should only move them up a few spots as SD will be drafting at the end of the round. 5th rounder is marginal as well at the end of the round, 50/50 to even make the team. There are only so many available spots to be won on this team...

Who do you think would have been the #31 pick the NFL stole from NE?

BB interest in Flowers was a total smokescreen. Flowers simply does not have the characteristics to play in our scheme at cb....and he is a bit small for safety. he is a cover two corner only IMO.

    1. Cliff Avril #16 2. Jeremy Zuttah #35 3. Charles Godfrey #46 4. Shawn Crable #47 5. Craig Stevens #51 Also rans: Orlando Scandrick has the speed they are looking for if not the mental toughness. Tyvon Branch has everything but may be better suited to safety. Oneil Cousins is a...

    2008 Draft Discussion Thread

gotta think a trade up here in the next 10 picks would make a lot of sense. Grabbing a player like Quentin Groves who can step in at OLB and possibly start right away or a player like Desean Jackson or Limas Sweed who also could compete for starting roles. OL has been picked pretty clean...
