I agree with all of this. Maybe it's because I'm a woman but Jacobs' comments just rub me the wrong way.
First of all, she didn't diss him or any of the Giants players. She was frustrated at the Patriots and how the game turned out. So there was no need for him to even comment. She said...
I know right? But it was always going to be the choosing of the lesser evils. It will be fun to see the Pats stop the hype train again though. Tom is God's nephew after all. ;)
I don't actually believe in karma to be honest, but if karma truly does exist, then perhaps the Giants failing to repeat is karma for everyone who openly and loudly hated on the Patriots and acted like they were Giants fans THE WHOLE TIME. Uh huh. Sure.
Hell maybe this entire...
Whew! Now I can finally get some sleep instead of being huddled in a small corner, rocking in a fetal position like I've been doing lately.:woohoo::rolleyes:
So if going 11-5 and missing the playoffs is our karma for Spygate...

Re: As much as I'd want Brady in there - this win was MUCH more satisfying with Casse
I too would love to see a healthy Tom being in there beating up the Jets. But yeah, the fact that the Jets can't even beat the Pats when their star QB is gone for the season and they have a good one...
Count me in as another person don't give a damn. I view NFL preseason the same way I view MLB spring training: It doesn't mean squat and in both cases, rarely a good indicator of how the real season's going to play out.
